Infosec IQ is relevant to our organisational requirements and is used for employee awareness and phishing campaigns and is monitored by IT and security.
Chose Infosec Skills

Chose Infosec Skills
Infosec is the best fit for me.
Chose Infosec Skills
Infosec has been our go to training company.
Chose Infosec Skills
I used Pluralsight in the past and it is great for most things but lacks in the number of cyber security courses that Infosec Skills has.
Chose Infosec Skills
I use a variety of sources for training, some because they're available at low cost through my employer, others because they offer courses in a specific niche. I like Infosec for the range of subjects and learning paths that are applicable to my current objectives. The courses …
Chose Infosec Skills
Infosec [Skills] provides a very good ROI for what I paid for [with] the training. There were a lot of similarities in terms of what each company had to offer and there were more than a few areas of overlap. I, ultimately, went with Infosec [Skills] due to word of mouth. I …
Chose Infosec Skills
I am in cyber security and this domain required me to do some internationally recognized certifications and infosec skills had helped in clearing these certifications. Their training instructors was awesome and practice questions quality was great. With the help of infosec …
Chose Infosec Skills
I selected Infosec Skills because they are commonplace in the industry. They offer a good amount of courses, material for the cost, and courses using Infosec [Skills] offer the ability to get certified through them. I think that, overall, Infosec [Skills] does offer an …
Chose Infosec Skills
Infosec Skills was better organized and more focused on what we wanted to train on. Udemy is still part of our educational environment.
Chose Infosec Skills
InfoSec Skills is practical and direct and can be used to gain an industry-rated and recognized certification that can be used to elevate one's professional standing. There are other training platforms, but none that I have found to be directly associated with a …
Chose Infosec Skills
We have only used Infosec Skills. We have nothing to compare.
Chose Infosec Skills
The concentration of Infosec Skills is on every Cyber Security domain. The Infosec Skills is one-stop solution for organizational users. The licenses are transferable within the organizational users.
Chose Infosec Skills
Stormwinds Studios/TOIT training Infosec Skills is generally more effective with instructor interaction, but the others offer a significant amount of training (live or recorded) for a much lower overall cost.
Chose Infosec Skills
We chose Infosec due to their reputation and a recommendation from the IT manager. We did not really evaluate other providers.
Chose Infosec Skills
[...] I subscribed to Infosec Skills to learn and research more about data recovery because I know Infosec Skills has [...] training [specifically] about that subject. But after I subscribe[d], I saw very little and basic information about this topic.

Chose Infosec Skills
Gaining my CISSP through Infosec Skills has really helped advance my career.
Chose Infosec Skills
I’ve used other training, but it didn’t measure up to the quality of product that Infosec Skills can produce.
Chose Infosec Skills
More or less the same as others I have used. Minus Infosec Skills does not have apps or smart tv/casting ability. Udemy PRO is also a better value $$$ for content. O'Reilly costs more but includes digital books for the most respected industry books. Infosec Skills has better …

Chose Renaissance myON
I like that myOn is connected to all of our resources on Renaissance. The STAR assessments will recommend books at the student's level. They are connected, so students can take an AR quiz when they are done reading. Epic is not designed to do those things.
Chose Renaissance myON
Epic is far easier to use, with more engaging titles and a user-friendly platform.
Chose Renaissance myON
All the Renaissance products are so user friendly and have the ability to fit into any educator's classroom needs. [Renaissance] myON [Reader] goes hand in hand with Accelerated Reader and easily links the quizzes for the students to access. My students have stayed so engaged …

Renaissance Accelerated Reader and Renaissance Star Assessments
Chose Renaissance myON
I like Accelerated Reader because it shows the comprehension level the students have after they read a book. However, I like myON because it just does a few more things than AR-- it goes above and beyond, and you are really able to see the growth your student has made on a …

The onboarding process has been quite productive throughout with the best team. The customer support team is able and ever on alert when requested to assist. It has simple user interface which is not the case with other similar platforms. The training modules are easy to understand and put into practice. It meets the set threshold and complies with company principals.

myON is a good program for all students in the middle grades. Using the suggested readings, several of our EL students have increased their vocabulary as well as overall reading proficiency in English by at least 1/2-1 grade equivalent within a school year.

Cons
  • Questions! The Database/site was updated, and I was no longer able to access the questions and choose specific topics to study from
  • There were two CISSP courses to watch videos, I would remove the oldest
  • Put an emphasis that users have a years membership after completing a boot camp

  • I could never figure it out.
  • Students levels from their STAR test did not translate into the books suggested on myON.
  • The platform is cumbersome and inaccessible for students and teachers.
  • I am fairly tech-savvy, but I could never navigate through and understand how myON worked. Eventually, I gave up and switched to Epic.
  • The book selection was poor. Only the non-fiction books were interesting to my students. None of the popular titles and authors were available.
  • It was a big disappointment and frustration for me and my students.

Usability
Because the skills learned from the course have proven to be beneficial in the day-to-day tasks that I typically perform. They are either directly related to or at the very least a complementary skill set that allows me to perform my duties overall in a more beneficial way to the people that I support.

All the Renaissance products are so user friendly and have the ability to fit into any educator's classroom needs. [Renaissance] myON [Reader] goes hand in hand with Accelerated Reader and easily links the quizzes for the students to access. My students have stayed so engaged while reading/listening to fun books on different topics for class. They love the fact that they can listen to the books while following along in the digital book. This helps my struggling readers have success.

Return on Investment
  • After my courses, I was able to obtain my CCNA (passed [on] first attempt) and my CCNP (passed [on] second attempt). This is far better than the average passing rate.
  • Professionally, I [got] a new job as a network engineer and then promoted to a Network Engineer II after completing my CCNP. I have seen a 40% salary increase over the last three years.
