Chose iSpring Suite
The ability to update data independently is the best feature. It saves a lot of time.
Our primary course and quiz creator was using Google Forms - iSpring Suite is several times better. Easier to use and makes more engaging content instead of bland questions that are easily ignorable by the user.
Compared to other applications, iSpring Suite is based on PowerPoint and therefore on a familiar way of working for creating content for knowledge transfer. This basis facilitates a very simple and uncomplicated transition to the new tool for new users. New users are quickly …
If you know PowerPoint, you know iSpring Suite. Not only is there a big learning curve with the other software, it also meant to us to start from scratch with our PowerPoints, which would have taken weeks to do. I can't state enough how big of a deal it is that it's all within …
So much simpler. Integrates well with PowerPoint so there is little learning curve. Articulate is more powerful but that level of detail is not required for most applications. The learning curve with Articulate is much larger.
We have chosen iSpring Suite over Articulate partially due to cost but also iSpring Suite does not distort the PowerPoint templates we have made as it does not import them into itself rather it becomes a part of PowerPoint.
iSpring Suite is the only product I've used since I've been in my current role and I'm glad for that. It was so easy to learn and so easy to become proficient with that it makes hard for me to even imagine a product exists that will work better for me.
When comparing features, price point and ease of use, there was no question which I was choosing. iSpring Suite offered more features and was the easiest to use. Additionally, it was one of the most cost conscious choices. It was a no brainer!
Captivate was, I feel, for my experienced users and for a more professional level of course that our organisation did not require at this time. It was too daunting to learn it all to create simple courses fast Easy Generator - too expensive for our needs. iSpring Suite has a …
We need Powerpoint compatibility because we can develop the training modules faster. Compared to all the authoring tools we have tried, iSpring is the most Powerpoint-friendly.
I think iSpring Suite is just soooo much easier to learn and use than Captivate. It just adds a plugin to PowerPoint and is very intuitive to use. I found Captivate difficult to figure out, and a lot more expensive.
For us, it's really important to have the freedom to innovate by freeing our creativity through the functions offered by iSpring Suite. Other solutions don't offer the same flexibility as iSpring Suite, and for us this was an important factor in our choice of the Ispring …
I did my research a while ago and liked the ease with which it integrated into the PowerPoint presentations as I have a lot already prepared. Will be able to update them all in time to the new format.
We've used Techsmith's "Camtasia" product, but only for video creation. It has a more powerful interface and feature-set, but none of the other tools that are in iSpring Suite.
Is less words the offline system presents only these having to generate the scorm files which had conflicts and upload them and test them and test and test and test, while the creation of the scorm offers a feasibility to preview the scorm without the need to upload it to the …
Articulate Studio is very much a leader in the e-learning space. It stacks up well against other tools designed to quickly and easily build and update CBTs by managers and super-users versus needing to invest time and effort in dedicated e-learning developers. Process …
Several Adobe products combine to do the work of just Articulate Storyline, which is part of Articulate Studio. The comparison is not really one that is easy to make but if you needed to do something with these Adobe products, all of them can be done with just Storyline. The …
Articulate Studio is the only Power Point extension that I have used, however, during the product evaluation phase (prior to purchase) we did look Adobe Presenter but it seemed to be a bit expensive and not very user friendly. I think we even looked at working straight from …
Articulate Studio still beats the competition by including all the necessary tools and utilities to create a course, add the content, videos, and quizes all from one user-friendly GUI. Other software works good, but you will need two or three combinations to do what Articulate …
Wondershare is the only other comparable piece of Learning authoring that I have used and it did not measure up in terms of the amount of options that are available for configuration. Wondershare had 2 or 3 things that it did very well, whereas Articulate Studio did all of …
We look at Captivate first, which Adobe oddly leaves out of its Creative Cloud suite, and I can see why it seems to be completely foreign in term of UI vs other Adobe products. The familiar PPT structure Captivate leverages is completely absent and the tools are much more …
I actually use all 3 products, as they each have their strong points. For Release Training, Studio is our best choice because of the short turnaround times. That said, we use Camtasia to create the video demos needed, and insert the finished mp4 video into Studio. Studio has …
The main advantage of Articulate Studio, when compared to other tools (such as Lectora and Storyline), is the simplicity of use. There is no need of programming or advanced technical knowledge. Other tools are more flexible and advanced in terms of features but they also …
Adobe Captivate is the tool I prefer to deliver software tutorials. If a project requires interactive, or non-linear delivery, Articulate Studio has more tools, more options, and can deliver a better, more interesting project with less effort than Adobe Captivate.
I have used Captivate, Articulate Studio, Storyline 1 and StoryLine2 and participated in the beta tests for Articulate 360. Studio is the simplest of the items. I like any of the Articulate products more than Captivate. It has a steep learning curve and I don't think course …
There was nothing against other products. Our customer was already using Articulate Studio; therefore, we had to use the same product to continue their projects, update existing courses, and create new ones. All the tools I have used so far have their own strengths.
Each tool I mentioned has its pluses and minuses. The other tools aren't as easy to use right out of the box, Articulate is. Articulate has its limits and if I had a more complex course I needed to build I would choose one of the other products. But again for the easier …
For a simple, quick course development and deployment, Studio is an excellent tool. Storyline creates more sophisticated results, and Captivate allows for excellent simulation-based courses, but for a typical, quick turnaround that doesn't require sims or sophistication, Studio …
iSpring is well-suited for various industries that want to provide training platforms, lessons, lectures, and other learning modules. In these scenarios, iSpring allows individuals to curate content necessary for sharing information of all types and to deliver material in a way that best meets the targeted audience.
Small to medium companies on a tight budget cannot go wrong. Articulate Studio enables smaller companies to produce compliant professional looking training courses without breaking the bank. Additionally, the product is quite intuitive to learn and use. I myself had never used a product such as this but was able to produce course work with quizzes that impressed senior management.
Easy learning curve. Just some button clicks for recording narration, syncing animations, and adding annotations.
They made some fairly recent improvements to how you sync animations and add annotations. With the timeline, you can manually move the timing around. Much better than the earlier task of having to just re-do it from the beginning and hope you get the timing right.
If you're using Studio in the Articulate 360 subscription, you can easily review the course before it publishes.
The included Quizmaker program is just great. Simple to use, but you can make a varied mix of questions, and the customization options are great.
You can add background music in slides, which is pretty great in certain situations.
The software is in constant revision, so if you search for help online, be sure you are researching the correct revision. There is a lot of debris information about iSpring Suite online.
The Presentation and Publishing features are somewhat intimidating at first. Be sure you pay attention to every detail. The training I develop is pretty standardized, so I was able to write instructions for myself to follow to ensure each instance was set up the same way each time.
There are a lot of 'extras' I never use, such as characters and interactions, so be sure your style of training development is aligned with what iSpring has to offer.
It's icing on the cake. It provides a lot of usability with its quiz-maker and presenter. The presenter can sometimes feel like an unnecessary add on. If it didn't come apart of a package, I don't think we would have purchased it outright.
iSpring Suite is a perfect tool overall to create contents in collaboration with colleagues. There are some difficulties though in usability but the usability is OK in total. We are fully satisfied with the customer support. There are simple online tutorials and a team of competent support colleagues. The support content is sometimes not simply accessible, you need to search for them longer.
This is very useable software even for novice eLearning authoring users. People with some PowerPoint experience should be fine with this software and even Excel!
Great software is only exceeded by their fantastic support. Prompt responses, complete with clearly outlined steps to follow, are just the beginning. There are tremendous resources and continual webinars to challenge what we think we know about the iSpring Suite. I often use PowerPoint to lay out marketing slides, add music and narration, then publish them as an MP4 video. I can count on iSpring support to assist me when I need help.
If Articulate, as a company, would require their "community" "support" staff to open tickets on behalf of customers, then I would say that their support would deserve a 10. It's a huge gap between Articulate's management of their support compared to other companies; "support" staff are supposed to open tickets for you if they see the need, but Articulate's "community" "support" staff are prohibited from doing so. Instead, they will tell you that you should open a ticket when it should be their job!! This is just disrespectful of the reality of software support.
iSpring Suite is the only product I've used since I've been in my current role and I'm glad for that. It was so easy to learn and so easy to become proficient with that it makes hard for me to even imagine a product exists that will work better for me.
Several Adobe products combine to do the work of just Articulate Storyline, which is part of Articulate Studio. The comparison is not really one that is easy to make but if you needed to do something with these Adobe products, all of them can be done with just Storyline. The beauty of Articulate Studio is that there are parts of the suite for which there is no match in Adobe such as Review 360 and Content Library 360.
It has enhance my reputation personally within the organization. This has led to other departments requesting me by name to head up eLearning development projects, even delaying their own deadlines to ensure that I am involved.
Other than a few duds (I let some inexperienced vocal talent slip thru in the heat of multiple conflicting deadlines), learner feedback has skyrocketed over that developed before I became involved and standardized the effort on iSpring
Prior to using this software, we were using a combination of other software, four in total, to accomplish the same task. Investing in Articulate Studio has saved us an annual cost of +$1,900 just in the software alone. Our ROI is less than 8 months as a result of the savings and time consumption saved by using one software and training on one software only.
Having a lower impact on computer resources, Articulate Studio allowed us to install it on more users workstations that were not able to support other software. This reduced cost significantly by not requiring "mega computers" to run the software we previously used. Since Articulate Studio runs so smoothly, we can purchase standard workstations and it runs great on them.
Having new employees join the team and training them on producing training courses has never been easier. They only require 3 days of training in Articulate Studio vs. two weeks we needed previously to train on 3 different software to accomplish the same tasks.
