This would be good for a small company who does not want to build their own time submission system. The interface is fairly dated, but we are quite familiar with it, so that is not really a negative for our company. The primary feature we struggle with most is the inability to …
Chose Journyx
Sage 300 ERP (Accpac) Timesheet module. Both are very good and I didn't make the decision. But thePC requirements are much less for Journyx.
Chose Journyx
Journyx is easy to use - intuitive with customizable drop down menus and with multiple report options, useful for a variety of purposes.
Replicon Time & Attendance
Chose Replicon Time & Attendance
We selected Replicon at the time because Replicon fit our business model. As we grew, we believe we outgrew Replicon, as we needed software that had more functionality.
Chose Replicon Time & Attendance
Having used ADP in the past I think ADP is a little easier to use from the employee's perspective but they are relatively similar otherwise.

Our director of research utilized this software at another facility and implemented it here due to the success of data capture from his other hospital. We were very fortunate that he had already knowledge about the system and we were able to implement it our institution very quickly.

Pros
  • Reporting of time - I know when I pull reports for each employee/contractor that I will have information at the touch of my fingertips.
  • Creating new users - is very easy.
  • Entering time - is easy for even the first time user

  • It is very user-friendly. From a user aspect, it is hard to mess up any entries.
  • It is flexible, so it allows users to go back and adjust any issues before submitting timecards for approval.
  • It is easy for managers to approve and add comments once the time card has been submitted.

Cons
  • There is a LOT of functionality, including a many functions that we don't ever use. If there were some way to set up a "dashboard" of only the functions we need, it might be a little easier to navigate some of the management and reporting areas.
  • Initial setup can be daunting, particularly for a larger company using a lot of functionality. Its been a long time since we've been through that, but the initial training and support has to be robust, comprehensive and very clear. (However, I can't say that it isn't now)

All depending on cost for renewal. This is very expensive as a reporting tool, as we do not recover the cost through billing
