LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Gmail (formerly Rapportive) is a free Chrome Extension that shows an email recipient's LinkedIn details within the user's Gmail inbox, and allows users to jump to the contact's LinkedIn profile. Rapportive was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012. In November 2017, LinkedIn released a new version of Rapportive called Sales Navigator Lite for Gmail, which makes some features of LinkedIn Sales Navigator accessible from within user's email inbox. RainKing is a sales intelligence software solution offered by RainKing Software.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator continues to be a key part of our marketing strategy. We use it to manage our lead pipeline, connect with new potential customers and manage our existing clients. We started using Sales Navigator because our sales reps weren't as connected as they …
LinkedIn Sales Navigators provides different services than most other products and has the unique ability to take advantage of LinkedIn's proprietary user data. That also comes with a drawback that the system is dependent on users to update their data in a timely and accurate …
LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Gmail has a good interface, budget-friendly price, and ease of access. The top three that I do love when using or looking for a software. Plus not to mention the fact that I got used to it and I don't think that switching from a software to other …
I prefer LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Gmail over 365 Data Science simply due to the ease of use and publishing of valuable data which is what I need. I've found that 365 Data Science is not as easy to use and has more complications/less user-friendly to use as a person who …
The integration to my inbox, together with LinkedIn's data is almost incomparable. Integration with Salesforce is so solid that Data.com does not offer an advantage being part of SFDC.
Kv Core and Konversion have a Smart CRM which rivals Sales Navigator. However, they do not reach out into the world...they are in my own sphere only. Sales Navigator helps me to discover other leads, not just service or keep them top of mind. The Business to Business …
Again, I was not the decision maker in this process. It seems that LinkedIn Navigator is the best, because of the bandwidth of people on LinkedIn that one can search from. Sometimes finding their information to get in touch with them can be difficult, which is why we …
I used Hubspot and Rapportive at the same time. They are both helpful in contacting leads. The advantage of Rapportive is its add on and panel that automatically displays the information of your leads. You can also email and track a leads even if you don't open the full page of …
To the best of my knowledge the only other product similar to rapportive is Crystal. Rapportive I like as it's more directly integrated with LinkedIn which I feel allows for a more seamless process. However Crystal is always available in my Google inbox which makes every day …
I started using Rapportive over 5 years ago because it was free and easy. Since then, HubSpot has added some similar functionality into the email interface, however it uses CRM and lead intelligence data instead of data from LinkedIn (would be nice to have both). I've lately …
Rapportive took one piece of information and automatically searched it against the web. It is a one stop shop.

I've used SalesNavigator and Zoom Info. I actually think that Ranking is a great solution if you can use it in tandem with SalesNavigator. When it comes to pulling lists, in my opinion, Ranking does it best. Now that it has the database combined with Discoverorg, it's even more …

We did not renew with RainKing. We chose to go with InsideView, Ibis World and FactSet which provide more accurate data and have very supportive customer satisfaction and account managers. We feel we receive a lot of support in better understanding how to leverage the products, …
I have used Data.com via Salesforce, which I think the org chart and industry feature is easier to understand in Rainking. DiscoverOrg, it has been a while since I used it but I remember liking it. I think the information was not as accurate as the information of Rainking.
Hands down best tool in its space! The information provided across all levels is unmatched, whether it is about technology or initiatives or org charts or just getting a prospects contact info, I trust Rainking more than any other tool available.
RainKing is far better than InsideView. The information is much more current and correct. RainKing was selected for its focus on IT management and the hygiene of its information. InsideView was very compatible with Salesforce and was actually featured on the Salesforce …
It ends up that their datasets didn't have a huge crossover so, having used both, I can say that they both had very high-quality datasets. Now that they're one company they have the best data in the world for IT (to my knowledge). Between the two companies, I would say that the …
This fares well against Sales Navigator because of having the e-mail address and phone number. With LinkedIn Sales Navigator, it does match up well with RainKing when it comes to exporting to Salesforce. I do enjoy being able to see the picture of the individual, as LinkedIn …
DiscoverOrg recently acquired RainKing. We use both products alongside each other for different departments. RainKing has a robust IT and sizeable C-Level finance dataset while DiscoverOrg had a better finance dataset. Due to the complementary nature of these two offerings …
RainKing's platform is more user friendly than DiscoverOrg and the difference in pricing is substantial. For example, we were able to purchase more licenses than originally planned because of the cost savings vs. DiscoverOrg. The cost difference could theoretically be related …
We actually originally went with another product but changed our minds because of the price. While it may be pricey, it costs less than other products we looked at; however, this doesn't include [the hefty price tag that comes with] federal data. We're still deciding whether to …
This product allows seamless integration between Gmail and LinkedIn Sales Navigator and imports data directly into our sales intel system. It is valuable to help map relationships and create timely sales pushes for key accounts. It would be valuable to have more robust integration with CRM systems like Salesforce and more reliable and robust contact information as well.
RainKing is awesome if your organization is planning on using it to help you acquire more targeted leads that fit well in the space you are going after. I love that there is no limit as to how many companies you can go after. The CSM that I worked with (Will Elchorn) did a superb job of answering any and all questions that I had.
Being able to search for companies that are currently evaluating solutions in your space.
The contact information for people and related people is also great, I have used dozens of other data solutions and prefer Rainking.
Rainking also gives you the ability to create lists of your ideal buyer and download them which was great for my team and I pull new contacts to prospect!
I can't get over how impressive the org chart info is in RainKing, it allowed myself and my team to find other involved prospects and get a good feel for organizations.
Sometimes it tells me I need to log into my LinkedIn profile when I've already logged in. It's weird. It seems to be when the email address is not found. Instead of just saying the email is not found, it tells me I need to log in. Just something I've noticed.
Sometimes I get this weird thing where I go to compose an email and instead of having it open all the way to the right, it opens all the way to my left. I'm pretty sure Rapportive is what's causing it. It doesn't happen very often but sometimes I see that.
I'm not a fan of my account manager. He's not the most responsive.
There are limitations to the software (ex: I've found several instances where I get a message that says I need to pay more to get information about certain people/companies).
The user interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The workflow is an easy thing to incorporate into your day-to-day as a sales person. It’s very rare that I come across a glitch or website slowness. The collaborative Aspect is also a plus when I am working with others on my sales team
LinkedIn Sales Navigator continues to be a key part of our marketing strategy. We use it to manage our lead pipeline, connect with new potential customers and manage our existing clients. We started using Sales Navigator because our sales reps weren't as connected as they should be on LinkedIn. The product allows our reps to be more connected, and we're finding more opportunities by being more connected.
We actually originally went with another product but changed our minds because of the price. While it may be pricey, it costs less than other products we looked at; however, this doesn't include [the hefty price tag that comes with] federal data. We're still deciding whether to purchase government/federal data. I also really like RK's customer support - they seemed very nice and genuinely wanted to make sure we were getting the best ROI.
