Backupify is a much easier system that provides a restoration option unlike Vault. Vault tends to only allow for holds or to export matters which is nice for legal needs but not for disaster recovery. Backupify works for disaster recovery and for holding matters. I do use both …

Anywhere you are trying to back up files for Microsoft or for Google and want a disaster recovery solution is a great time to use Backupify. It is a very simple interface that includes an audit section to show all history of restorations as well. It keeps much longer back ups of files than Google does and is much easier to use than Google Vault

  • When backups fail there is no notification
  • When changes are made to the platform, there is limited information
  • Support is on the whole, terrible.

Usability
Very simple user interface and straight forward to complete back ups and restore. It was very easy to set up and then easy to maintain. It does not require any regular maintenance unless you want to delete out data. I only go in to delete old user data for licenses or to restore
