Considered Both Products
Netskope CASB
Chose Netskope CASB
We felt that Netskope provided a more holistic view in the CASB space from a user and usage perspective. In addition, the cost structure for Menlo was a bit higher and was a bit more complicated in the installation and maintenance perspectives
Chose Netskope CASB
We are thinking about moving to PaloAlto Solution of URL filtering and Prisma access as it is in much more locations and it looks to be working more stable for users. SO far this is in the test phase so it is hard to say if we go this path but as we have this solution already …
Chose Netskope CASB
Looked at SkyHigh as well as Cloudlock and felt SkyHigh was the only other leader in the space that was worth serious consideration. Netskope was able to pull out ahead just based on some subjective decisions.
Chose Netskope CASB
I find that Netskope CASB provides a larger catalog of SaaS applications and provides additional security controls for each app, allowing granularity to what actions end users can perform on the sites. This goes beyond simple block download/block upload, making it highly …

Chose Trellix Helix
We found FireEye Helix to outperform all other tools we reviewed. SecureWorks had a great marketing plan but once we drilled into the technical details, the platform wasn't able to keep up.
Chose Trellix Helix
I find Helix to be super-efficient and able to cut through the noise. Previous installations of LogRhythm and Splunk resulting in an overwhelming amount of noise (out of the gate), and we had to constantly tune out false positives. Helix is different. Out of the gate, Helix …

Well suited for an organization that is either architecting their environment for majority SaaS usage, or presently is a cloud-first organization and wants greater insight into their existing cloud placements. It does provide good first-level DLP and will need to be supplemented with a purpose drive DLP control.

Overall, we've had a great experience with FireEye Helix and would recommend it to organizations looking to improve their operational security. We've found Helix to be a great way to collect and analyze revenant security events and take action. Having a single pane of glass makes this process much more efficient. Prior to moving to FireEye Helix, we had different teams sending data to different applications, which resulted in confusion and critical data being missed.

Usability
Netskope's CASB can be challenging to deploy. If it is being implemented for the first time and staff do not have prior experience with deployments, then professional services should be utilized. Once configured and deployed, the product provides an easy-to-navigate User Interface and can be managed effectively with training.

Support Rating
There have been some struggles with their infrastructure keeping pace with demand and load. Support can only do so much and has to defer to known problems being escalated.
