ConnectAndSell takes the problem of getting decision makers on the phone and makes it go away. A typical Sales Rep will have more sales conversations using ConnectAndSell in one hour than they would typically have in an entire week.

Chose ConnectAndSell
We have moved to Salesloft. Salesloft gave us greater visibility into performance metrics and integrated with more software which in turn helped streamline our business.
It is very similar to competitors. Some better, some worse. But the core abilities it has, it does well. If you are in the market for a sales dialer, this is a good one to go with. Contact them, ask them good questions. The product is sound, but be ready for a significant …
This product really can make a strong business impact if you implement it correctly. The struggle we faced was making sure that all the data was correct and that it was updated the data the way we wanted it. We considered using connectleader which had a similar look and feel …
With Outreachr, you have the old school version of dialing, waiting, hanging up etc. ConnectAndSell is a much more efficient tool when it is running in full swing. Unfortunately, the implementation team spent the majority of the introduction trying to teach us how to sell …
Ultimately, it comes down to quantity vs. quality. While you can absolutely develop great quality pipeline using ConnectAndSell, its biggest value is in generating a huge quantity of opportunities for your sales reps.
Lightning has a better success rate for connecting (in terms of it takes less time to connect using Lightning) but Lightning was definitely using shadier connecting tactics and also required the user to be focused intently when it connected you with a prospect. When using …
Most competitors with existing dialer products seems to stepping away or divesting from products like this, while Orum continue to have a high level of focus and innovate to build a product addressing a critical market need.
Orum definitely has a layout that is strong, and the follow ups, notes, and the feedback your SDR manager or Sales manager can give you is priceless on this, at the end of the day this tool can be used to coach reps and also the tags can help get infront of your ICP faster.
PhoneBurner is a good dialer as well and might be a better fit for a different use case, but as of my writing this review, they do not have a direct integration with Outreach. They allow a third-party (PieSync) to make certain "if-than" connections, but PhoneBurner didn't make …
ConnectAndSell is incredibly helpful when it comes to getting people on the phone. In the world of sales, dials and connects are king and connect and sell works great to hit these two points. The ability to create lists is great, however, I would like to see more customizable options available for end-users to play around with.
In general, our experience was not good at all, we had been here for two months. We were using Orum. They didn't get one qualified lead out of it, which may not be the actual product. It could just be us. In conclusion, we just fell like a number in a system, and that doesn't really go with our company's values,
The amazing piece is that you can leave a voicemail with each of those calls and really only need to focus in on the calls that patch through.
One thing that has been absolutely amazing about Connect and Sell is the amount of call volume you can get in a single day. We used to start out by having 40 calls a day to now exceeding 200 calls going out.
It's been a product that we weren't sure of the business impact but we've already seen results from producing more conversations and being able to follow up with greater ease.
Calls get cut off more regularly than I would expect. I am not sure if that is an issue on Orum's end, but I don't think it is a network issue either so I am not sure why.
In the search lists, it would be nice if we could add favorite cadences or separate by our own.
It's pretty easy to use and integrates with my other tools well. Only reason it isn't a 10 is because sometimes the pause auto dial option is a bit buggy and at some points the prospect can have difficulty hearing me on the other line. Overall though it's intuitive and easy to use
I have had a few support calls with their people. They are totally reachable and helpful, sharing screens, controlling my screen, showing why things happened, not just correcting it. If you have an issue with the software, let them help. They are there for you, and they are friendly, accessible, and happy to do their job.
Lightning has a better success rate for connecting (in terms of it takes less time to connect using Lightning) but Lightning was definitely using shadier connecting tactics and also required the user to be focused intently when it connected you with a prospect. When using lightning, you needed to immediately speak and know your talking points while ConnectAndSell gives you better time to prepare.
PhoneBurner is a good dialer as well and might be a better fit for a different use case, but as of my writing this review, they do not have a direct integration with Outreach. They allow a third-party (PieSync) to make certain "if-than" connections, but PhoneBurner didn't make it clear if there was a way to automatically log calls in Outreach. Plus PieSync brings its own monthly cost. Orum is a bit more expensive but well worth it for me.
My personal ROI has been approximately a 100% increase in the number of calls I can make in a given amount of time, vs. calling directly from Outreach before (roughly 50 calls per hour to 100+). The increased potential for business is worth the cost of admission for me.
