Pixlr is well suited if you need to design graphics quickly, and using foreign languages. The fact that even if you use a non-Roman script (in our case, Khmer) but can still design things beautifully, is a huge value add for our team. It is less well suited for absolute beginners to graphic design, who can find the myriad tools and functions overwhelming or confusing

Topaz Gigapixel is a simple and quick, easy-to-use software that does what you need it to - upscaling low resolution images. There are automated options to preview changes and advanced controls of you prefer to manually tweak adjustments to the image. It also has a function for face recognition however sometimes if the resolution is too compressed, it doesn’t work so well

• The ability to "save" your work history within the browser but also to a file.
• Has a large database of copyright free images for background use.
• Has a great selection of fonts.

Topaz always responds to my questions in a few hours or a day at most. They've been able to explain their answers and give detail I needed to complete my work. Their instructions are quite clear and easy to use. I haven't had to reference any third-party support sources to get answers.

Canva is a similar program using for creating content. I've tried out their suite as well but always end up coming back to Pixlr because of ease of use, and my familiarity with the product. They continue to make upgrades to the product and have always had what we feel we need to make top-notch looking graphics for our organization.

Since they aren't direct competitors I don't expect PaintShop to hold up to a specialized piece of software. PaintShop allows you to resize but it's not intended to resample as well as Gigapixel AI.

• Pixlr offers something new and relatively easy to use that does not require excellent knowledge. In the case of professionals can make adjustments and artistic retouching of great value and excellent quality.

• Used photos otherwise couldn't.
• Been able to use smaller images in larger spaces where they wouldn't work before.
