Rank Ranger

Rank Ranger is great for those who are new to SEO. However, people should be aware that they may fall behind to competitors using more powerful software such as Ahrefs and Semrush. [In my opinion] we are very unpleased with the dashboards and quality of data and tracking and are in the process of switching over.

• It is a simple and easy to understand interface great for keyword reporting
• It updates ranking data much more quickly than our other tool enabling us to quickly assess performance in the short term
• Being able to track rankings by city and zip code makes reporting out for local business really accurate

While both are billed as keyword performance tools. Conductor is a much more robust tool and not totally necessary for lower-maintenance websites. Rank Ranger is perfect for our clients that simply need keyword tracking and reporting on a monthly basis whereas we utilize Conductor for in-depth content recommendations, on-page and competitor analyses.
