It is easy to manage, assign tasks to people in a particular project. People or team leads in multiple projects can share different channels thus maintaining different projects. Manage users - it's easy to manage owners of team sites, along with members and guests. Analytics - being able to review how each team site and the channel is being used is extremely helpful and can point out areas of weakness or concern.
