Our website provider, NABR Networks offers a similar feature but it does not have the robust pre and post event communications options or ability to provide a variety of signup template options
We briefly used another sign-up website called "Bring the Cups."Needless to say, this website did not nearly offer the same amount of robust features as SignUpGenius did. Bring the Cups was streamlined and simple, but it bordered on simplistic. In all honesty, Bring the Cups …
I haven’t used other products because I’ve always used SignUpGenius when I need a big signup sheet in this kind of format. Depending on the situation, I might just create a shared document in Word or Google Docs and give people access to fill in whatever information I need from …
SignUpGenius definitely allows more customization than using Google Forms for signing up / volunteering purposes. If I am creating a form for an event, 99.9% of the time I will use SignUpGenius. It also easily walks non-users through signing up - which is a feature that Google …
I know of Eventbrite and how you can use it to promote an event. My event was for families and kids. The event was also free. Eventbrite I could have used for this but it did not have the abilities like SignUpGenius for me to organize and stay in contact with my community …
SignUpGenius offers features that OneDrive does not have. Specifically, around automation and management in one place with a Free option. Other software in the same lane only offer free trials. The ads found on SignUpGenius can be distracting and a nuisance but understandable …
We have used Google forms for many things and while it is useful, it isn't as easy for things like meetings, parties, and gatherings. When I look at the data from SignUpGenius, it's easy to understand and I know exactly what is going on. With Google Forms, it can be much more …
I have used Doodle for years to poll groups on possible meeting dates and times and choose one that works for the whole group. I still use the product regularly and find that SignUpGenius is a great compliment, as it works the other direction: when I have the dates and times …
We've used other services (such as Doodle Poll) to get similar information and it's been easy to get what we need from SignUpGenius. I love that SignUpGenius will send reminder emails for me so it can keep everyone up to date. It's also easy to edit so I can change things …
I prefer the use of SignUpGenius as it is more user-friendly. I am not limited to 10 questions and then have to pay for additional features. While I do not like the additional feature payment, as we are a nonprofit, I will continue using the free services.
SignUpGenius is much better. The volunteers can text reminders. The templates are beautiful and professional. I also appreciate that you can use passwords to protect your signup.
They're all pretty straightforward. I didn't select YCBM personally. I just use it as it's the existing tool the company uses. Booking meetings isn't a complicated thing to do so I appreciate how straightforward YCBM is for doing it.
I have only used YouCanBook.Me. I actually have not heard of any others. I go by word of mouth, and YouCanBook.Me has a great reputation. I did not personally choose YouCanBook.Me, but I do choose to utilize it. We don't have to use it, but it certainly makes things a lot …
Coordinador de Espacios Tecnológicos para el Aprendizaje
Chose YouCanBookMe
Youcanbook.me is a pretty unique service, but some others have come up since we started using it in 2015. There´s some competition like simply book or roomzilla, but he haven´t considered them because they aren't as cost-effective or simply haven't found a need to do it yet. …
YouCanBook.Me allows fuller messaging in addition to appointments. Calendly is more minimalist than YouCanBook.Me. I prefer having more control over the look and feel, and functionality than it offers.
SignUpGenius is a great option for teachers and instructors looking to find a digital way to have their students sign up for anything that involves "slots," whether those slots are temporal/time-based (e.g., presentation days/times that are pre-scheduled), or whether they are more abstract (e.g., a limited range of subjects or topics that students need to pick from). Its free version is ad-supported, does not require registration, and operates primarily using links within emails for authentication, so while it isn't necessarily "secure," it is perfect for situations where the honor system is enough.
YouCanBook.Me has made it really easy to schedule calls with applicants and with team members scattered across the world. We use it a lot to schedule follow up calls with potential leads from conferences and other recruiting events, which has been really key in converting leads from those events, and we direct applicants for our internship and staff positions to YouCanBook.Me to schedule interviews. We also use it to schedule calls with team members internationally. It is most useful for scheduling a call between two participants.
Post-sign up communications - allows for pre-event communication to specific rsvp types or to all respondents
Post-event reporting - allows for export of signup information
Easy to use - for our community, both management and volunteers use SignUpGenius to facilitate participation and planning for a wide variety of events and activities
Allows a prospect flexibility in choosing a time to meet
Saves me a lot of time with followup phone calls to book a spot
I can choose the times I am available for each day
If I block off time in my Outlook calendar, it blocks it off in YouCanBook.Me as well, so if there is a one-off time I cannot meet, I can just block it in my calendar instead of going into my YouCanBook.Me account
I think an area that needs improvement is allowing for more than 5 slots at a time. I would like to see at least 10 offered instead of having to keep adding 5 at a time.
Adding additional templates or templates in which you can just change a color selection would be great. Really utilize this for school PTO/Booster Clubs would be beneficial. Cater to them.
Allowing for a 'cheaper' price than what you have for the souped up version would be nice as well.
We loved the old version of youcanbook.me. Once they updated the site and functionality, we hated it. We kept reverting back to the old version, but now we cannot use the old version anymore. The new version has made it much slower to set up a new profile and fill in all of the reminders.
If they made it faster to populate a new profile by limiting repetition, that'd be awesome. We have to edit the titles of calendar events, emails to us, emails to participants, etc.
Working with Google calendar is sometimes frustrating, but they've recently updated it to make it easier for us to duplicate calendar events. Youcanbook.me syncs with Google calendar, so making all of the calendar events set to "Free" (previously, "Available") is pretty annoying.
I don't have any feedback for support because I have not had to use support (if referring to IT support). If this question is in referral to support from other staff/company, then it has been received well in that sense.
We briefly used another sign-up website called "Bring the Cups."Needless to say, this website did not nearly offer the same amount of robust features as SignUpGenius did. Bring the Cups was streamlined and simple, but it bordered on simplistic. In all honesty, Bring the Cups did not nearly meet our needs the way SignUpGenius did. Consequently, I returned to using SignUpGenius as quickly as possible.
Youcanbook.me is a pretty unique service, but some others have come up since we started using it in 2015. There´s some competition like simply book or roomzilla, but he haven´t considered them because they aren't as cost-effective or simply haven't found a need to do it yet. Folk at youcanbookme have given us great user support and have many benefits for the educational sector, which make it hard for competition because we are pretty happy with their service :)
Students and even other staff love it! It improved the turn-around time from when I respond to student requests for academic coaching to setting up the intake meeting about 50%. Also, in the case that I respond quickly but the student is delayed several days, the link I sent is still live and always has relevant dates and times (whereas in the past, I would send a few days' worth of options and by the time a procrastinator looked at them, they were passed).
It's an easy, mobile-friendly option that helps students to see that we're with it, not trapped in the stone age. That factors into their overall perception of our department, our services and our organization.
