Apple iCloud helps with my organization by allowing to store my photos, music, and overall files from all my Apple devices. The Apple iCloud allows me to sync and share my data in a fast and easy method. It is easier to backup my information, incase of the device malfunctions.

Pros

Stores all varieties of file types from presentations to photos.
I am allowed to text, listen to music, and take notes with any device as long it is in the icloud.
Has a feature to where i can find my Iphone, incase it is lost.

Cons

I believe storage pricing is a factor in deciding on which plan you want.
Faster downloading speed
Able to use offline access incase there is no to little service in the area.

Likelihood to Recommend

I had Apple products for years and I always loved the idea that my information is always backed up. It is easier to set the device up when all your storage is still within the system. It is similar as moving to a new house where you carry your belongings to a new space.

I use Apple iCloud in a business sense that part of the space is allocated as a backup, and it's a redundant backup. The other parts that I use are like a gigantic flash drive. In this industry, file size is huge - and having a way to share files say between home and business is a gift - and it's easy with iCloud - it's just a password that allows this!

I would love to see a way to partition the space in my iCloud Drive. Yes, it's already large and but I still would like that ability.
Cheaper would be nice
Shared space could be easier - between users

iCloud is always well suited to be used between Mac users, and for that matter Macs. It's a way to make sure that every file on a particular Mac can be backed up in the cloud - and with the recent disasters we have had in the south cloud backups are good - and the other good way to use this is like a gigantic flash drive - that lets me take files between home and the office.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Apple iCloud for storage of communal files that we can then update, share and access as a group. It addresses our storage needs for a reasonable price point. It also allows us to access and store larger files for sharing purposes such as video and image files that we then need to use for the website as well as to hold onto for future usage.

Harder to access on a non Apple device
Signs out too frequently and requires authentication on an old device
Could have better organization of files

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for large files and for sharing via Apple products. It is less than ideal for those in the company using alternative PC devices as login becomes more difficult and tiresome. It does offer large amounts of cloud based storage for a reasonable price point. We will often use this service for the storage of larger files such as video and image files.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Apple iCloud in my personal life to seamlessly sync files, appointments and contacts across my various Apple devices (laptop, iPad, & iPhone).

Pros

Syncing files, appointments, Notes and contacts. If I'm away from home, and set an appointment using my phone, that appointment automatically updates real time to my home laptop and vice-versa.
It stores files (e.g photos) nicely
Once it's set up, it's fairly easy to use.

Cons

As long as you're using the same email address/Apple ID, things work well. It gets harder to sync across multiple devices if you have multiple Apple IDs. (Having said that, 2nd level Apple Support has some workarounds you can use)
Sometimes the website is difficult to navigate.
Occasionally (e.g. every couple of years), there are hiccups in syncing. I've never been able to figure out why.

The syncing across devices [with Apple iCloud] is pretty good. The usability of the website could be improved.

I use Apple iCloud for quick access to Pages documents and Numbers spreadsheets. It serves as my virtual depository that I can access from anywhere and proves to be very convenient, especially when traveling. Forget about keeping up with paper files - even if I only need a specific document once a year, I can find it with ease.

iCloud is also great to keep access to photos synced across devices. Ex: I can snap a photo at a job site and have access to that photo on my desktop when I return to my office. I can then drop the photo into a document that is stored in iCloud and have instant access to that document on my iPad at a client's office later in the day. Seamless transitions make life much easier.

We use Apple iCloud to support our Mac operations. However, it does not do all that Dropbox does, so we use dropbox to share folders. Apple iCloud does not have the opportunity to share folders but to share files.

Ability to decide what remains on the computer - This is a big issue
Fills up my hard drive when dropbox does not

If you have a mac and lots of photos, iCloud is a must. Also, it works great in the full mac environment with all files. Apple has an excellent opportunity to make this the go-to cloud environment for both Mac and PC, and I would love to see it expand there

We use iCloud as our main source of syncing and sharing files, contacts, calendars, and more. As Mac users, as well as iPhone and iPad users, having all of my synced content at my fingers makes working easier and more efficient, and allows us to work together in automated ways. iCloud creates a safety net in the cloud in the event our machines are unavailable or are lost.

I have only ever had excellent support from Apple regarding iCloud. It's been incredibly useful to sync information across multiple Macs, iPhones, and iPads. Every device that I log into has all of the synced data available and ready to use. Its ease of use is fantastic, and is only limited by the default storage that comes with it. Thankfully, you can add on for not much per month.

Apple iCloud is used across the company when we desire to share files or folders we cannot normally share from our Microsoft Sharepoint drives. This is most often the case when sending to outsiders. We also use it to keep specific files with us on the go. iCloud is great because of its mobility and security.
