Project management tool providing a central place for project updates
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Asana to fulfill work order. A form connects to Asana to create a work order. We are then able to assign the work order to an individual based on the level of importance/work they have. Asana allows us to see what tasks everyone is working on, making it easier to assign new tasks to individuals with a lighter work load. This product addressed easy workflow updates, tracking of previous tasks/work orders, and a central place to put new ideas.
Pros
- Organizes team tasks
- Allows for a central area to keep historical information
Cons
- I would like a simpler user interface for the features I use everyday.
Likelihood to Recommend
Asana is well suited for areas where project management takes place. Because Asana allows for all the information to be centralized, it makes it easy to keep tabs on the status of projects and tasks that are assigned to others. I would not use Asana in a setting where there is quick turn around, and no use for centralized historical data. (I.E. a lab)
