Sleek management of AWS access and billing with AWS Organizations
Rating: 10 out of 10
IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
AWS Organizations allows us the ability to manage the numerous AWS accounts that had been created internally and acquired through acquisitions over the last number of years. We use it across the whole organization and integrate it with a few third parties. One is for centralized support and the other is for integrating our various units through one AWS SSO integrated provider.
Pros
- Brings all AWS organizations under one management structure for billing
- Simplified management of user access with AWS SSO
- Centralized reporting
Cons
- Could include cross organization IAM management
- Could allow quick login access to other organizations like the AWS SSO homepage
Likelihood to Recommend
AWS Organizations is well suited for centralized billing and user management of all of your AWS accounts when paired with AWS SSO and a SAML provider of your choice. AWS Organizations does not have an integration with IAM user accounts and this could be helpful for organizations without SAML capability.
