Event Hubs is a managed, real-time data ingestion service that’s used to stream millions of events per second from any source to build dynamic data pipelines and respond to business challenges. Users can continue to process data during emergencies using the geo-disaster recovery and geo-replication features. It can be integrated with other Azure services to unlock insights. Existing Apache Kafka clients and applications can be allowed to talk to Event Hubs without any code changes, producing a managed Kafka experience without having to manage clusters.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We are using it to queue the data for further processing on different services. As data retention is being maintained by the Azure Event Hubs we can process that data whenever is required as per the retention condition.
Pros
message queuing
data processing for notification.
Handling large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Cons
pricing should be less
integration with the services should be enhanced.
Deduplication functionality should be there in Azure Event Hubs
Return on Investment
reducing the cost as you don't need to create a solution which is scalable
increasing the productivity of the solution.
customer satisfaction can be increased by integrating it as a solution.
