Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Bolt is being used by our ecommerce sales department. It lets us process credit cards quickly and indemnifies us from fraud. Prior to using Bolt, we were spending a lot of time verifying online orders. Due to the high value of our products they are a target for credit card fraud. Bolt has eliminated that problem.

Pros

Fast checkout: our customers can complete transactions more quickly.
Security: by using Bolt we have peace of mind with our online credit card transaction.
Efficiency: our employees spend less time vetting credit card transaction.

Cons

Charge backs are still a chore.
When Bolt denies a customer's transaction it isn't always clear to the customer what happened.

Likelihood to Recommend

Any industry that is concerned with credit card fraud should consider Bolt. The boost to our conversions has been excellent. It helps us save time and have a more secure credit card checkout system on our website. Our sales reps are spending less time on the phone talking with customers about their purchases.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Bolt as our checkout partner and payment processor on our e-commerce website. Bolt addresses the problems with native checkout on shopping platforms by making the entire process quicker and more seamless.

Pros

Checkout fast! Bolt really helps our customers checkout on our website much quicker and with less user errors.
Support. When something inevitably breaks, Bolt's support team is always there to help find a solution quickly.
Motivation. Bolt's entire business model is set up right so that it is a win-win for us and Bolt. They are always looking to improve their platform and thus improving ours and ultimately the customer's experience.

Cons

I think Bolt could improve the coupon section of their platform. Allowing multiple codes to be input.
I'd like to see some of the features that Bolt has made available on other shopping platforms on WooCommerce (It's worth noting most are available.)

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have an eCommerce site, then Bolt could work very well for you! We have seen Bolt scale seamlessly as our sales have increased.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Bolt is used as our checkout option on our ecommerce website. It has helped us significantly reduce fraudulent orders and has made our customer's checkout experience seamless. Customers love how they are texted shipping updates and any information about their order. We also love how it incorporates financing options for the customer and it is the quickest customer checkout I have seen. The Bolt support team has been excellent as well.

Pros

Protects stores against fraudulent orders through detailed customer screening
Offers great financing options for the customer
Very easy to use for the customer
Makes checkout extremely smooth and creates a great customer experience online

Cons

We would like it if Bolt had more financing options with companies like ACIMA
We would like the option to choose how often we are paid out from Bolt
We currently have a Big Commerce site but may want to change to Shopify in the future. To my knowledge, Bolt does not currently support Shopify at this time.

Likelihood to Recommend

Bolt is great for large and small companies selling products online. It integrates very seamlessly with our Big Commerce site and provides a smooth checkout experience. The backend dashboard is also very easy to use. I think it would be great for any online retailer.
