We use BrowserStack mainly as our new Testing Management platform. We store test cases and also test plans there. Automation is usually being handled by different tools, but we'd like to use BrowserStack as unified reporting for both, manual and automated testing. We are still in on-boarding phase, so we are not using all features available.
Pros
Reports look really professional.
Test runs integration.
AI capabilities.
Cons
Import of test cases from other platform (only limited options).
Test runs not allow to update instances of test cases, but always updates all test cases.
Test runs integration could be easier.
Likelihood to Recommend
I have just started with using BrowserStack, so maybe it's too early to give a specific examples. From my experience, it's quite difficult to import test cases from TestFLO and I needed to write my own import tool to handle this situation. I know it might be easier for different source TMC tools.

BrowserStack gives me an opportunity to check the performance of client web applications from remote areas. It is easy to use and learn how it works from advanced tutorial materials provided by the support team. It scans quickly the security status of internet systems used by our clients to access our business sites.
Pros
Testing web applications.
Checking quality of different websites.
Running automated tests with solid tools like Appium
Cons
The testing capacity has been excellent.
I have not identified performance hitches that can affect application testing.

I have used BrowserStack for various testing models and each session comes out with positive results. It has saved us cost and time used to run private hardware lab in the organization. The setup process is simple and the features are straightforward for new users. The debugging capabilities are highly powerful and can easily assess the root cause of operation failure.
Browserstack is used to web automation testing of our products. The tool is very easy to use and has enabled us seemless testing. The UI/UX is very beginner friendly so that new trainees also can adopt to use the tool without much training. The recording function is a next level feature which helped us to identify many issue which we couldn't figure out in our automation run for somedays. Since our product is a global product the geo-location testing feature is very useful to use enables us to test in various locations. Since the features and ease of use we purchased BrowserStack and expecting to explore and use more because this tool has made our life easy. The support received from the team is also truly amazing, which gave us more confidence to use BrowserStack. The CI/CD pipelines also can be simplified using BrowserStack which made our processes so simple and easy to operate. Simply this tool is an all in one package which modern technical teams need.
Pros
Automatic recording
Geo-location testing
Environment stability to long test runs
Cons

Required to buy 2 plans for mobile live and mobile automate
Pricing structure
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need to test your application from different locations, Browserstack geo-location testing feature is best and provides us the possibility to test in different locations. Automated recording feature helps you to identify issues in your test automation run. So that you can address the issue correctly and resolve.

We use BrowserStack observability in our organization. We use to track test reports for regression suite for various products in our org. It gives a nice GUI for all test runs and health status for a given suite and charts out time series test performance along with other metrics. The thing it lacks it understanding between a test rerunning as part of retry logic in TestNG, as currently it counts failure even if in retry the test is passed. It also has some issue with correctly understanding skip tests as it runs/counts that as well even when run is set to false. Support for other frameworks like Spock should be included.
Pros
Reporting
Charting
Health status
Failed test labelling
Cons
Skipped identification
Retry run identification
Other framework inclusion
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for reporting test runs for different aspect of product with it's observability suite. It labels test health status well along with labelling of it. The thing it lacks it understanding between a test rerunning as part of retry logic in TestNG, as currently it counts failure even if in retry the test is passed.

We moved to remote working in 2020 and managing our physical devices with the QA members was costly and difficult.
We use BrowserStack to do manual testing on our iOS and Android Self-Care applications.
Pros
Large range of device from many manufacturers.
Can enable network traffic to see the API traffic.
Can take screen capture and recordings from the interface.
Real devices not emulators so the testing is more accurate.
Cons
We are down every few months due to billing issues and it takes a few days to get everything sorted. BrowserStack doesn't seem to have caught up yet with how enterprises bill through purchase orders.
Older devices for example below Android 8 are not available and this means we still need to have some physical devices to test Android 5.1 -7
iOS does not have 12.5 only 12.3 and 13 so we cannot test 12.5 which is the lowest we support so we still need a physical device for this.
Enabling iOS network traffic does not always work especially on the newer versions, or it takes a long time to enable with the restart when you enable this option.
Likelihood to Recommend
Brilliant for any remote companies and companies supporting newer operating systems within the past 5-7 years and for apps that Android Studio or XCode don't seem to catch all the bugs physical devices encounter.

I regularly use BrowserStack to proper unit test my code on mobile devices and to use screen reader on desktop mode. there are some scenarios where a certain webpage perform a little different in different devices here BrowserStack makes a developer life to validate all these scenarios super easy.
Pros
testing on different scenarios on different devices
screen reader capabilities
vast types of devices present in the console
Cons
the initialisation of devices sometimes takes time
we need different options for screen readers
old devices options are relatively less
Likelihood to Recommend
BrowserStack is suitable in case if you have to push your code to prod environment and to unit test the code with different device support and to check if the accesibility part of page is well aligned with WCAG guildelines.
as of now My every need is checked with BrowserStack
