Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a medical practice that needs to collect credit card information to hold in case of a copay or deductible or cancellation fee. We needed all our staff and patients to be able to input credit card information but only our billing department to be able to charge the cards when necessary. Holding so many people's credit card information is a huge responsibility that we take seriously.

Pros

Cardknox enables us to collect credit card information secure in the knowledge that there is no way for the information to be used fraudulently.
Cardknox has given us the flexibility to compartmentalize access levels to further reduce risk.
Using Cardknox has totally removed the responsibility for securely storing credit card information from our practice.

Cons

Any areas in function that we found tedious or difficult were really a result of us not knowing how to use all the features Cardknox offers. Once we contacted support with our issues and received guidance, we have not had any issues or frustrations with the system. Their support is robust and wait times for a response are extremely low!

Likelihood to Recommend

We use Cardknox differently than I imagine most people would. For example, we do not use their client database feature, as we have all that stored in our medical system. Another type of business would likely find that feature a big help. We are very pleased with Cardknox's service and support, which is not often required.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cardknox is a payment processing gateway. Our software solution integrates with the Cardknox gateway to provide integrated payments for our software users. It's used by the whole organization.

Pros

Customer support is fantastic
Payment technology is the best I've seen in payment industry.
The solution is very comprehensive and flexible for our demanding needs.

Cons

They have international payment capabilities, but could be improved.

Likelihood to Recommend

Any software company that provides ecommerce and on-premises payments would be recommended to use Cardknox.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a software developer. We use Cardknox internally to process credit card payments. We have also integrated Cardknox into the software we sell. Our customers use Cardknox to process several different types of credit card payments from back office accounting to point of sale. Our software uses Cardknox to process one time payments for customer purchases, payments on account and automatic charges for recurring invoices.

Pros

One of the strengths of Cardknox is the ease of installation. We have worked with more than one processor and Cardknox is by far the easiest to install.
Cardknox also has excellent support. When we need assistance they are they to help and it is easy to get through to them.
The sales team at Cardknox is great also. They often go beyond the call of duty to help us.

Cons

Every product can be improved, but as it relates to how we use Cardknox, they do everything we need.

Likelihood to Recommend

One thing Cardknox does well is to automatically update critical credit card information such as card expiration dates. This feature not only saves time, but it solves a huge headache of keeping card information updated. Before, our customers would have to call the credit card holder to get a new expiration date. Now it is automatic.
