Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use CharlieHR for managing staff info and annual leave requests. Our staff work variable hours and accrue lieu time and have unpaid leave time, which can be tricky to manage effectively.
Pros
- Ensures personal requests are not lost in email
- Makes managing leave days easier
- Provides a standard UI for all
Cons
- Better ability to manage leave for part time / pro rata employees
- Links to other HR apps such as free agent
- Management of unpaid leave allowance as well as paid.
Return on Investment
- Easier to track leave taken and left
- Still need greater flexibility for leave types
- Need to be able to book leave by the hour
