Communities are huge right now and a great solution for businesses looking to build relationships and trust with customers. I recommend Circle Community Platform for sharing information, fostering connection, hosting private events, and anything where knowledge sharing and support is a goal. It's intuitive and mimics the UX of familiar social media sites.

We built our community of users there. The community is focused on educating our customers in the best use of our medical device, FlexBeam. Through the Community we keep our customer engaged and excited to keep using our device and we provide a lot of high value content from our Clinical Director. Specifically the Forum is the most popular space where users ask questions and share experience and all members can benefit of it.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Nice layout
  • Good functionalities

Cons

  • Analytics
  • Log in for users
  • Integration with PayPal

Circle offers all the main functionalities that are needed to build a Community from scratch. It is very easy to set up even for someone like me with ZERO technical skills. I really enjoy managing the Community on Circle as it is very intuitive and smooth and doesn't require a lot of time to learn of to work around it!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have a mens community and using it to sell membership and courses. I was thinking about starting FB group but then noticed that it is to busy on there and to many distractions. Creating a community on Circle Community Platform gives people the focus on a specific topic and community. Allowing them to go deeper in the work.

Pros

  • Community Engagement, connection and communication
  • Courses
  • Payments
  • Channels/Spaces to specific topics and conversations

Cons

  • Video Space or Channel like YouTube
  • Giving more options for embed
  • Allowing documents and pdfs to open on mobile app in app versus needing to be downloaded on mobile first before viewing

If you want to create a community based teaching or communication this would be a great platform. If you also want to sell courses or content, this would be a great place to do that. Giving a group of people a place to come together and learn from each other.
I wouldn't recommend this for a person who isn't interested in creating a community, if you want to just sell courses, you can use other software for that.
