Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Cisco Mobility Express throughout our whole organization as an ideal controller-less Wi-Fi solution. [It] provides [a] connection to all people, [including], clients, employees, and guests. It is reliable compared to the router we had provisioned previously. Less disconnection, people can easily connect. It is easy to set up and maintain.

Honestly, I think it is well suited in any environment. May it be work, campus, universities, malls. It is a reliable, controller-less solution, simple and easy to use, and easy to maintain. It doesn't require much support from professionals. You install it easily. It provides an uninterrupted connection, and you can easily connect to it.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used in the management building of my factory. The best and useful part [would be] if my one [Cisco] Mobility Express failed, it will automatically be switched to another AP as a Controller. We do not need a separate controller with [Cisco] Mobility Express.

4 band of optimization is not good as compared to WLC

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our bank's IT department recently implemented Cisco Mobility Express for better network communication across the entire organization, and we are truly satisfied with this amazing product. We are a corporate sector, and a vigorous network communication medium is always needed in order to communicate with external vendors. It is quite simple and easy to configure and takes only a few minutes to get the work done. The wi-fi architecture has been simplified and modified to a great extent and is smartly designed for small to medium deployments. Because of its high speed and efficiency, it has resolved a lot of network communication issues.

Pros

It has a stunning interface which is easy to understand even for a non-tech person.
It comes with a wide variety of functions and a detailed guide on how to use and change them according to need.
You don't have to pay extra for WLC.
Support provided by Cisco round the clock and gives [us] immense confidence in this product.
Troubleshoot mechanism is very efficient.

Cons

There are no frequent firmware updates.
Although it is [very] secure, [the] latest security patch should be frequently included in updates.
Some minor improvements required in [the] interface.

Likelihood to Recommend

As it provides virtual WLC functionality, it has incredibly amazing built-in features that perfectly suit small to medium companies. It has the capability to manage the entire organization network seamlessly. It might be possible that it won't work smoothly and elegantly for large firms where there is a bulk amount of data bandwidth used.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We've implemented Cisco Mobility Express in one of our smaller branch offices, with just a few Access Points, where a standalone WLC would make no sense. For a branch office, which especially focuses on R&D, a fast and reliable connection was very important.

Pros

Fast and reliable network connectivity
Good configuration GUI
Quick and simple configuration
No standalone WLC costs

Cons

There were some minor issues, but were solved with a firmware update.

I'd recommend [Cisco Mobility Express] for small and medium businesses due to max AP limitations.

Honestly, I haven't found very many issues since we started using it, and I'm glad for that!
