Best and most robust data streaming platform!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We needed a data streaming platform to support real time data ingestion to our data lake environment. This real time data supported client facing in store and digital use cases for sub second api call classification or product promotions. As well, we looked for a partner who could replace our current technology on Azure and Confluent was able to do so at a global enterprise level.

Pros

  • Streaming real time transactional data to cloud storage locations
  • Data streaming transformation reducing compute expenses on lake and warehouse environments
  • Transfer large size data segments

Cons

  • Cloud based Azure platform features for Confluent lacks behind AWS And GCP

Return on Investment

  • Confluent replaced Microsoft Event Hubs in our environment and unblocked data platform services rollout globally.
