This product overview assesses Conga Sign based on a synthesis of 9 recent reviews across multiple dimensions of product satisfaction. Conga Sign is primarily used for document signing, with a notable focus on its integration capabilities, particularly with Salesforce, which streamlines workflows by automatically updating records. Users appreciate its notification and tracking features, as well as its cost-effectiveness compared to solutions that charge per document. Specifically, 3 of 9 reviewers cited cost savings. However, some users have reported usability issues, especially with the interface's intuitiveness during status checking and tagging processes. Document editing limitations, such as the inability to directly edit documents, were also noted by 2 of 9 reviewers. Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We send onboarding documents via Conga Sign as they require signatures and date/time stamps. We also use Sign to implant information from the form onto a related Salesforce record. This saves our staff valuable time by limiting the amount of effort required to take information from the documents and record it in Salesforce.

Pros

  • Merge Field Formatting
  • Formula Fields
  • Write back functionality

Cons

  • Document formatting ease of use
  • More types of formula fields or conditional formatting
  • More type of write back fields available

Likelihood to Recommend

Our use case for Conga Sign is pretty straightforward. Because of this, there is not much about it that would be considered excessive or inappropriate. It suits our needs as a tool to record data provided by a signer. It can also be launched from inside Salesforce via a custom button for ease of use.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for sign and send on our Plan Administration Agreements, First set of Documents (Reinsurance, Investment Agreement, Disbursement Agreement)

Pros

  • Audit- who has looked but not yet signed
  • Sending emails along every step of the way
  • when combined with Batch, it's great for getting all existing clients signed to an updated Admin Agreement

Cons

  • Perhaps email notification preferences (but honestly folks should use emails rules and filters)
  • perhaps a low impact way to get internal sign offs from Stakeholders - I.e. we could use Conga Sign for internal sign off on initiatives and deliverables

Conga Sign should buy Docu sign Developers would love that consolidation

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization utilizes Conga Sign to execute a variety of documents annually. In conjunction with other Conga products, the Sign platform makes for a seamless experience for internal users by being naturally integrated. Feedback on the external signer experience also improved since using this product.

Pros

  • Integrates
  • User Experience

Cons

  • The audit trail could be more descriptive
  • Being able to download the audit trail would be an advantage
  • There should be an easier way to check what signature is pending without going so deep into the signature package

Likelihood to Recommend

Conga Sign is great for sending multiple documents at once, that all need signatures. It is less idea for providing the other party with informational documents.

Conga Sign Review

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Conga Sign to obtain our electronic signatures after approvals are completed. Some of our issues depend on the PDF document. If it was previously signed by a vendor and scanned over to us, Conga Sign will give us an error, and we still have to use DocuSign. Also, we hate the fact that if there is a mistake made in the PKG, we have to void it out instead of edit it like DocuSign.

Pros

  • Gives detailed notifications
  • Available through wizard within the system
  • Reassignment capabilities

Cons

  • The void instead of edit capability
  • Size of document limitations

Likelihood to Recommend

Just the fact we have to void instead of edit is a huge reason

Conga Sign works for us

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Conga Sign to generate Purchase Agreements and send them for signature to our customers.

Pros

  • Attaches the file to the email
  • Sends to the signers in the order we want
  • Allows us to determine if a recipient is a signer or not.

Likelihood to Recommend

This is much better than generating and attaching the file to the email manually because I don't trust that all of the sales reps would do that correctly

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The company I work for utilized Conga Sign for executing contracts within the CLM tool. While it worked well to perform the task of signing contracts it was difficult to follow the progress of the signature process.

Pros

  • Executes documents
  • Sends automated emails to signors

Cons

  • Tagging was difficult
  • Couldn't follow the progress of your document
  • Not as user friendly

Likelihood to Recommend

Just wasn't intuitive as it needed to be which is a challenge for some of our end users.

Pro-Unlimited Sends!, Con? Not so user-friendly for us.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We send documents for client's to sign for forms and contracts, payment options update, etc, we probably send anywhere from 10-30 Conga Signs a week if not more. Our clients do not report easy consumer usage, as they aren't prompted or taken through the signing and they're not alerted to what fields aren't completed, they simply cannot submit to sign. We like the way that Conga Sign integrates with our SalesForce service, but we're still unclear in all of the ways it can be used as we don't find it user-friendly and requiring additional tech support or a tech manager support.

Pros

  • Unlimited Sends
  • Field Tagging
  • Reminder Resending

Cons

  • Guiding Signers to Completion
  • More user-friendly coding
  • Resend links reminders, not new documents for signature
  • Automatic cancellations

Likelihood to Recommend

There are perks that most signer companies did not have in the past, including unlimited signs. If that was not on the table, the lack of user-friendly services make it very difficult for sender and receiver quick completion.
