Because we have ConnectWise Recover in place, we're able to be more efficient with less people

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

By using the ConnectWise Recover unlimited off-site feature, we were able to move the company completely to the cloud which means employees now are able to work faster after an outage. ConnectWise Recover's ability to virtualize servers in the cloud for uses above and beyond pure disaster recovery helps us to be more efficient and responsive to clients. Ensures data is securely backed up, protected, and accessible when it's needed.

Pros

  • The platform offers a powerful feature set that includes block-level backup, granular file recovery, and more.
  • Not only we are able to recover data from our customers, but we're also able to backup and continue business operations whether a single or an entire server goes down.
  • All our server and desktop patching is properly managed and tested.

Cons

  • Navigating the user interface can be tricky.
  • I look forward to new features coming out this year.

For two years now, we have managed operations with Continuum's server and desktop care offerings. I'm especially impressed by Continuum's web portal and a ticketing system but I would want them to release new features more often. Looking back over the years, we are very happy with the growth we've enjoyed and the role that Continuum has played in the company's success.

Cloud-based backup with decent support

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Continuum Recover was used by my former company to try and automate key tasks and get better support for our environment and workload. It helped us build trust with customers and expand business relationships. Another selling point for MSPs to have a business sign with them. It helped offload the day to day requirement of having a tech check backups manually.

Pros

  • Automation.
  • Management.

Cons

  • Reporting.
  • Responsiveness.

Likelihood to Recommend

Continuum is well suited for an MSP who has several clients running backups. Everyone knows how important backups are. Having Continuum Recover helps eliminate the need for a full-time employee to check backups. Backups can take a long time to check daily manually, but Continuum Recover helps eliminate that need.
