We were searching for a platform like Contractor Foreman for so long. We were so tired of multiple platforms and apps that made it near impossible to keep up with. Contractor Foreman made my life so much easier, I can invoice, see my profits at any given time, see my employees timecards all in the same place, and all office staff has everything they need whether they are in office or not. We have had Contractor Foreman for over a year now and they only thing I dont care for is that I cant customize what I want some of my line items to be titled, once I got over that, it was smooth sailing.

When I first started I couldn't figure out how to put in my new jobs correctly and I sent an email asking for help. The next day I had customer service stay on the phone with until I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong.
We use Contractor Foreman for estimating and job costing. We are a residential and commercial construction remodeling company. Since we have switched from Job Nimbus to Contractor Foreman are gross profits have gone up now that we have the ability to monitor job costs in real time rather than waiting on reports after the project is complete and it's too late to make adjustments.

Contractor Foreman is great for estimator to get the details and the scope locked in for the hand off to the project manager allowing for less error and cost in completing projects. If you are not into details or matching expenses to scope to see what part of the project is profitable and where the estimator is under pricing to adjust your bottom line, then you won't appreciate the full benefits and the quirks like having to refresh all the time lead you to going back to your shoe box of receipts. It takes time to get everyone onboard with the extra steps need to get the job costing benefits but if you can outlast your employee grumbling you will love your increased profits.

I am a home builder who uses Contractor Foreman. We mostly use Contractor Foreman for a crm, estimates/change orders, organizing files/photos/document, and a place to keep general information about projects. I use the scheduling feature mostly for meetings with customers. We used other CRMs in the past but they were fairly limited and would have required integrating a bunch of multiple programs. Contractor Foreman has pretty much everything we could need.

If you do multiple trades for construction, Contractor Foreman is awesome. If you do one trade like flooring, roofing, electrical, etc I think it's a little overboard for what you'd need.
You need to be able to spend time setting Contractor Foreman up. The tutorial videos are usually very helpful.
We are a small polishing company that uses CF for our office side of the construction process, we use it for our field guys for communication, updates, and clock ins. With CF we are able to keep track of COPs estimates, and other important notes with ease. CF has made my job a lot easier.

Contractor Foreman is well suited for seeing updates on projects, change orders, change order requests, and clockin in and out. It is not well suited for team communication, marking up files, and the app as well is frustrating as it does not give you the same options as it does on the website. Also having more customization would be nice.
Contractor Foreman gives you all features of the high price competitors at a fraction of the cost. I have been using Contractor Foreman for several years for all my estimating, job tracking, project managing and billing. My employees find it simple for time tracking and the integration is seamless. All the info pushes to QBO for my bookkeeper and Accountant without a worry. I have also set it up so that Hub Doc pushes my receipts and expenses to QBO which then posts them back to Contractor Foreman and automatically posts them to each job. Huge time saver.

It is the most cost effective solution we have seen yet, I have demoed different products and Contractor Foreman seems like it provides the most value for the set of features it has.
