As a non-technical founder, I want to produce a webapp prototype without learning how to code. Cursor allows me to do that. I use it to build a webapp without writing a single line of code. Cursor suggests step-by-step instructions on setting up the development environment, deployment mechanism, file structure, and database.

It is great for non-coders who have some technology knowledge and are comfortable following Cursor's instructions to build and deploy a webapp. Good prompting skills are needed. It is not for those who are not comfortable looking at raw codes. Cursor also is not very creative when it comes to user interface design.

Cursor increased our development speed by at least 25%. We were already used to Visual Studio Code, so it was a smooth transition that made us save a lot of time by incorporating great LLM models inside the IDE. We were able to create incredible stuff in record time by using the Composer tool of the App Cursor, too.

We created a React.js website here in a few hours; the Composer tool just made us be able to create in record time by referecing some of the website pages and then asking for a new page with some different characteristics but the same design/layout. To be honest, we created much faster than we would using a no-code tool like WordPress.
