Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are currently using the CYREN WebSecurity system company-wide to ensure we have full protection and control of potentially malicious or offensive websites and possible 0-day attacks.

Pros

  • Category Control in multiple languages.
  • Simple interface controls whever I am.
  • Swift and experienced support team.

Cons

  • Some enhancements to filetype control as PDF's can be flagged wrongly preventing download as executables
  • Quicker log updating on the fly error checking.

Likelihood to Recommend

For any form of company control on a larger scale where threats can have a very detrimental effect but not suited to SME scenarios was cost factor would be a key component and not require as much automation.
