Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Datto allows you to connect constantly to the Internet, quickly solving most of the problems when sharing the Internet between two or more devices. The app helps to channel the data in one direction or the other in order to grant the Internet to the device that needs a connection.

Pros

It is sometimes used simply to know the amount of internet data that each application needs.
It also serves to control the expense in case of having a limit.

Cons

On some occasion it may happen that it does not work correctly.
It does not have a memory cache interface.

Likelihood to Recommend

We can download it in a portable version, as well as install it on our system. We have small graphs with summary information, it will show us how much we have consumed in a specific period of time that we choose, we will have information related to the applications that have access to the Internet.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Datto WiFi delivers efficient and secure wireless networks for always connected WiFi. I used it everywhere when I connect to wireless and it is amazing to be connected and also travel data from point A to point B in a secure way. If you need to be connected and stay safe, please think of Datto Wifi

Monthly recurring fees for the hardware
The ease of use does come with some setbacks as they are not fully customizable,
some of the access points do not have SSH ability.

Likelihood to Recommend

Datto WIFI does well at: It's really just adding in the Mac address and ensuring you have all the settings you want set in the portal. Once it checks home your access point has been deployed. This makes it very easy to manages hundreds if not thousands of access points. Datto Wifi is less appropiate in LAN enviroments in where you don't need WIreless.
