It is an easy and quick way to deal with private data. The information can be accessed by our board members both online and offline. TouchID makes sure that only people who are allowed to see it can see it. Diligent Boards handles private data efficiently.

I am part of the product management group cum administrator from IT taking care of Corporate applications used across Organization. This Diligent Boards tool is widely used in board meetings & CEO-1 groups for all important meetings like budget allocation and performance evaluation meetings.

Based on my views, Diligent Boards is a premier governance tool tailored for boards of directors, C-suite executives, and corporate secretaries, designed to simplify and streamline board management tasks. It is widely used across various industries for managing board meetings, securely sharing documents, and ensuring seamless communication between board members.

Not all C-level executives in our company at single location. It is not cost-efficient to have face-to-face meetings every time considering their occupancy. Conducting regular meetings via ZOOM or Cisco or other communication channels is not advisabeale considering the sensitivity of the topics discussing during the meeting. Hence, our executives uses Diligent Boards to manage its global board meetings. Board members or executives from different countries can securely review materials, collaborate, and vote on resolutions, even while traveling internationally

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Diligent Boards for our Board Portal, distribution of Board materials, questionnaires, surveys voting docs. We also use Diligent Boards for COI Questionnaires for Officers and Directors. Recently the COI process was brought into Diligent Boards and it resolved doing timely manual distribution.

Replacing documents - if they aren't the same number of pages the notes get deleted. I recently found out there is a way to recover them though
The automated agenda isn't as customizable as some of the other Diligent products (BoardEffect)
We have been promised the calendar feature to be migrated from the admin side to the director side over a year ago, and it still hasn't happened

Having everything in an online platform makes it a lot easier to work on getting out Board materials instead of printing and mailing.
