EaseUs Todo Backup is well suited for the Branch Office and small to the medium business network. The software is powerful enough to meet most of the demands of these less complex environments. However, it may not provide the bells and whistles of enterprise software designed for highly virtualized environments.
I chose and installed the Home version of this product and found it very easy to set up and run. Installation was quick and setting up the routine was simplicity itself. I don't currently have a NAS, so backup to a dedicated local HDD alongside a cloud backup solution. It's largely "fire and forget" in its operation, at least in my workflow.
Pros
It's easy to use for beginners. I found the UI to be straightforward and logical.
The software also runs in the Windows Pre-install Environment (Windows PE) if the machine crashes. Of course, you need to have backed up the drive first!
Backups from the whole OS down to single files is available.
Backup to CD/DVD, SSD and HDD are all supported.
Cons
Speed. The software can be a little slow, in my experience.
Backup to cloud services is not supported (on my version, anyway)
The background process slows down my computer.

Backups are such an essential aspect of modern-day computing, everyone should be making regular backups of their files, folders, and system. I found the software impressive in helping me transfer data from an old HDD to a brand new SSD. The help files guided me on the process I needed to follow and importantly, helped me understand WHY I needed to follow the steps it recommended. It all made logical sense once I understood it.
It needs a better way to monitor success/failure of the scheduled backups. Maybe notifications?

It works really well in residential and small business settings. The price point is perfect for the peace of mind it gives. I honestly don't see a situation where it wouldn't be worth the investment.
