Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Exclaimer for email signatures across multiple brands and teams in our business. Exclaimer helps ensure branding, contact details and job titles are all consistent amongst the team. It also allows us to rotate marketing and keep everything current and relevant to campaigns. With a team that has a varying range of technology literacy, Exclaimer is a great tool to control the brand's marketing and messaging from one central point, without having to ask the team to complete manual updates...which we found were not always happening.

Pros

Timely updates of signature creative
Seamless and easy to use
Customer service from Exclaimer is very helpful and prompt

Cons

Adding spaces between signature content can be a little bit difficult
Sometimes some signature creative can show up a little bit differently from the preview (but nothing drastic)
Size of creative is really low (150kb max), makes it hard sometimes for designer...but it is doable.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's cool that we can add in NPS surveys and create campaigns to the signature, and gain feedback in real time if we need. No instance of where Exclaimer has been inappropriate to use.

Cloud Signature Solution for Office 365. This is used to provide cloud signatures to our emails for all staff in Office 365 Tenant.

Pros

Simple Interface.
Easy to Implement.
Easy to use for end users.

Cons

Prevent Signatures from exclaimer showing up automatically for emails that have custom signatures.
Needs a Better tool for Outlook NEW.

Likelihood to Recommend

It was easy to implement and accepted by the organization. The online interface for designing and implementing signatures for different groups is simple.

We use it for email signatures and to promote products we are selling. It allows us to apply a coherent email signature for all users in the organisation. It applies on all devices the users send email from. It helps ensure a professional brand image across all emails. It enables us to promote reviews and news about the company too.

Well suited to those who have Microsoft email system, as you do not need to install any software on the email clients. I think it also works in the same way with G Suite. It applies email signatures coherently across all devices, and allows you to make tweaks and changes to the templates quickly when required. It is suited to business who want a professional coherent brand image shown on their emails.

We use Exclaimer to manage our email signatures. It allows us to maintain brand consistency. We are beginning to use it as part of a larger marketing strategy. They recently released a Hubspot integration that we want to test as part of an ABM strategy.

Pros

Maintains brand consistency.
Eliminates need of IT to update signatures.

Cons

The UI is a bit kludgy and sometimes difficult for new users.

It is well-suited when new team members join the company, and we need to set them up with an email signature easily. However, it is less appropriate when trying to launch complex marketing strategies.

Exclaimer allows us to manage our signatures centrally. This allows us to give one person the task to maintain those. Creating efficiency and allows us to be uniform to our customers. Because of the connection with Microsoft365 if someone hasn't setup the signature right in Outlook it will still be applied. It also allows us to be more involved with things like holidays. Its now way easier to deploy say like a Christmas signature for everybody in the company.

In short: We wanted uniform signatures with easy management to professionalize our business and create efficiency. Exclaimer allows you to do that and even more!

Thinking about signatures is something from the past for the users. Holiday? Achievement? New opening times? Exclaimer allows you to add this in the signatures quick and easy!

We use Exclaimer to simplify signature management and provide a consistent and on-brand corporate image to our customers and suppliers. We also use it provide marketing information within our emails. Installing and configuring the platform is easy and can be completed in a few hours. The solution is simple to use and seamless to our users.

Exclaimer is well suitable to situations where end users are given control over their signature i.e. remove the control from the user and provide pre-defined signatures. It can also be useful to send target messages from each department i.e. different messages from the sales team vs the service team.

Managing emails across a large estate of users, branches, and sister companies is challenging without Exclaimer. Exclaimer allows us to quickly see, edit, and deploy changes across different sites, with very specific email rules to adjust terms and conditions/terms of sale, promotional events, branch-specific information, and unique contact details.

Pros

Signature editing.
Testing signature rules.
Supporting end users.

Cons

A complete tutorial could be added to avoid common pitfalls (such as when to use 0 and when to use auto).
The email add-in seems quite clunky when getting going.
There is no way to self-serve user-specific changes (such as toggling on/off certain extras, such as direct dials, extensions, and job titles).

Likelihood to Recommend

We needed to move away from self-designed signatures (or rather, signatures that staff were provided when they joined the company) and move to a more uniform solution that would allow us to make important changes forcibly appear on all emails - these were namely terms and conditions, especially during times of difficulty such as covid. Whilst this was a requirement, each branch had specific information such as a number and postcode, and some even had their own specific branding. It was vital that we be able to make a signature but still be able to control what does and doesn't apply.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have gone from everyone using different email signatures to uniform templates between departments. This gives our organization a more professional feel and ensures all relevant information is sent to our customers. All 300+ members of staff now have email signatures that fit their department, with the added benefit of our marketing department being able to send deals to customers we are currently communicating with.

Pros

Uniform Signature Layouts for the whole company.
Easy management and design of email templates.
Easy to set up new templates.
It is easy to target templates to certain people.

Cons

Can't make small changes for individual users without creating a whole new template.
It uses information from Active Directory/ Microsoft 365, but it won't read every field available.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is quick and easy to set up new signatures for departments/groups. However, we are on the cheaper plan, so we only get the ability to create ten templates for email signatures. Therefore, when someone needs to tweak a template, we need to be thoughtful of resources. This is great for our parts and sales teams to be able to send deals to customers as they are talking about other products and services.

We signed up with Exclaimer to provide harmonized email signatures for all business colleagues. It's great that it delivers consistent signatures without delay.

Pros

Prompt delivery of signed emails.
Pulling signature information from Microsoft Exchange.

Cons

In my opinion customer service is dreadful.
Design tools for creating signatures are poor.
Overly restrictive image upload size - especially on banners.
Upgrade process non existent without contacting customer service - who don't respond.

Likelihood to Recommend

It could be a great solution - but with poor customer service, no easy way to upgrade or downgrade the account, and poor design tools, I wouldn't recommend it.
