Experian Email Validation

The Experian Email Address Verification service helps marketing, customer service, and informational emails reach the right customer. It works by using an email validator to check email addresses. The validator determines whether the email is real and can receive mail.

The Experian email verification solutions work in three ways:

• Real-time validation at the point of collection - The hosted email verification solution improves data quality at the point of collection. Whether the user chooses to implement the software on web forms, at the point of sale, or in a call center environment, the solution aims to help the user catch mistyped email addresses and prompt customers to make corrections while they’re still engaged.
• Automated batch hygiene - Email address files are automatically uploaded to a secure FTP website on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis for validation. Once complete, users receive an email notification that the file and its results are put back onto the secure FTP site for retrieval.
• List validation - Email lists can be validated on an ad hoc basis depending on need or preference. Experian processes file and provide the user with a summary of the results.
