Fedora Linux

I used Fedora Linux in my organization based on a client's preference while working on certain client related projects. Fedora Linux typically offers a shorter lifespan compared to ubuntu.

Usually when there is a focus on security it takes away from flexibility. I personally like Ubuntu more than Fedora Linux because the long term support LTS is longer than Fedora Linux.

We have had Fedora [Linux] in testing for a while, and done some limited deployments. It's not our first-choice system, but it is definitely something we have used for certain applications and systems.

For experimental use, test lab situations, or very special-purpose tasks, Fedora [Linux] is an excellent choice. We are almost exclusively a CentOS shop for our production stuff, but in labs, we take more risks with things like Ubuntu or Fedora. It's not as appropriate as CentOS for production level endeavors, but it lets us know "this is where we could be going" when we engage in r&d tasks.
