Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using FME to handle the spatial data processing. For example, reprojection, intersect and locate. Sometime we also use it to do the data loading. Recently we are trying to use it to replace one of our existing software.

Cons

Should allow script to change the database connection
Should provide more details and user friendly error log information

Return on Investment

Easy to create and easy to understand when compare to the Esri api code
Difficult to debug when the error happens
