Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Google Forms to get feedback from users. It has a very simple and understandable interface. The fact that most people know about Google Forms gives people confidence.

Pros

  • Very basic UI.
  • Suitable for all ages.
  • One of the most reliable products.

Cons

  • Unfortunately, there are very few customization possibilities.
  • Generally good for smaller organizations. Can't recommend for large organizations
  • You cannot add your own domain and branding.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is best for getting live feedback. For example, we can get our landing page feedback quickly.

But you can't get very detailed data or do A/B testing. So I don't recommend it for real scientific purposes.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used Google Forms for several different projects. One was to gather user feedback as a simple questionnaire. Another use case we have is to gather inventory data as products move through our organization. We can track SKU, serial, purchaser, and delivery dates of hardware we provide.

Pros

  • Easy to create
  • Intuitive user interface
  • Easy connects to google sheets to gather data
  • Easy to distribute

Cons

  • Forms all generally look the same
  • Not much flexibility in customizing look and feel

Likelihood to Recommend

Very easy to quickly put together a form to gather any kind of data. This makes it simple to use forms as a way to test processes or gather data quickly.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This is mainly used for collecting data and taking ideas from our staff. When a new project is to be established, this is very useful.

Pros

  • Google Forms is interconnected with Google Sheets, so it is very easy to analyze the data in a convenient manner.
  • If we wrongly add some section, we can easily remove or correct it.
  • It is very easy to use without deep knowledge.

Cons

  • More customization facilities so the user can manipulate it
  • It is internet-based one so you cannot use it if you do not have internet. It would be very useful if it could be usable without internet.
  • It only accepts texts up to 500 Kband images up to 2 Mb, and for spreadsheets, the limit is 256 cells or 40 sheets.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Forms is well suited for doing surveys and projects based on data analysis. You do not need to collect and analyze the data manually, since it can be done very easily and automatically by Google Forms.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

While I was working in Inforstretch, we were using Google Forms in all the events held at our company. It was very easy to use Google Forms as it was an excellent user interface. I am currently pursuing my master's, yet I am using Google Forms to get data for various events, ask users to input the various information on various projects.

Pros

  • Collect Data.
  • Can convert to excel quickly and from excel to various databases.
  • The data can be private, so the data-security is maintained.

Cons

  • There should not be a google account binding it Google Forms should support any accounts.

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Forms is well suited in any events where we need to have RSVP's or want to gather certain specific information from the user; then google forms is best for that. But when the company is not very specific about the information they want from the user than the Goggle Forms is not appropriate in that way.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Google Forms for information gathering across departments for consistent input. It allows donors to provide data at their own pace and schedule. It solves the challenge of multiple sessions and schedule coordination.

Pros

  • Flexibility in format. Allows for many types of data collection.
  • Intuitive. No special training is required to use.
  • Rich in graphic integration. Allows for customization and branding.

Cons

  • Export tools. It could use additional exportable formats for integration with other reporting tools.
  • Mobile formatting. Could improve in portable layouts for tablets or phones.
  • Templates. Additional preset design templates would be welcome.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great tool for data gathering direct to clients and users, distributable via Google Form direct invitation, email, or link. Many customizations for the type of input makes it nimble: button types, fields, mutually exclusive buttons, text input, etc.
