Good for Entry Level, Not Great for Anything Else

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Handshake to recruit student workers and to connect students to potential jobs after graduation. I have used it as both a student and a recruiter.

Pros

  • Allows students to upload their resume information
  • Allows students to set their interests for job openings
  • Allows recruiters to connect with potential applicants

Cons

  • The quality of jobs available for graduates is lacking
  • There should be more information available about the jobs, specifically salary and work modality for every job.
  • Students do not often seem to use it because of the aforementioned issues.

Most Important Features

  • communication with students
  • job board

Return on Investment

  • I cannot really speak to the full ROI as a limited user.
