Great Signature Platform.

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This is a great software that I use to send out contracts to my clients. I chose Dropbox Sign because their competitor Docusign puts a limit on the number of documents you can send, which I felt was ridiculous. Very easy to use, and I find that it saves me a lot of time in my day-to-day compared to several other signature platforms I have used.

Pros

  • Collect Signatures.
  • Allow for multiple Signatories.
  • Follow Ups and Reminders.
  • Easy to fill out documents people want me to as well by uploading them into my dropbox sign for my own fill in.

Cons

  • It would be nice to be able to build a template for just the location of the signature boxes that would allow me to upload a document, and the boxes could be basically replaced. I have the exact same doc for each of my clients, but there are small changes here and there, and I have to fill in their personal info through another program, so it would be nice to be able to do a template this way instead of just tying a template to one document.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for getting collaboration and docs signed. It could use some help in creating templates but allowing the boxes to transfer to multiple docs instead of tying the template to a single doc.

Alternatives

DocuSign
So much better, specifically because of the lack of a limit. Focusing limits the total amount of docs you can sign per year and is more expensive. This product has similar if not slightly easier/Better functionality, and it’s for a much better price point. Would highly recommend it over a competitor.

Easy Contracts make clients happen.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Dropbox for our customer contracts and agreements. Having this tool be used online as an electronic form has made filling out our contracts and receiving them faster than ever for both our customers and us. We don’t have as many loose ends as we did previously.

Pros

  • Ease of access.
  • Quick delivery of content.
  • A way to keep track of clients.

Cons

  • Better integration with other systems.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have found Dropbox sign helpful in getting a contract signed in timing to electronic payment methods. Not having to wait for those things to be completed has been great.

Great Service, Great Value!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We're constantly launching new partnerships with Influencers/Affiliate partners, and Dropbox Sign (previously Hello Sign for us) has always been our go-to e-signature tool for contract sharing.

Pros

  • Easy implementation of signed/editable fields.
  • Quick and easy upload and sharing.
  • Fully executed contract shared with all parties upon completion.
  • Real-time updates on status.

Cons

  • Notifications are a bit aggressive sometimes; 4-5 notifications per signed document, 1 or 2 would suffice.
  • Pre-loaded fields would be nice, AI style, automatically adding fields after a PDF is uploaded.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's perfect for sharing and requesting a signature on standard docs or those that will not require edits. If you're negotiating a contract and it's not finalized terms, likely not the best route, but we wouldn't use it for that anyways.

Easy to use, still needs feature support and upgrades.

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Used for sending documents to prescribers.

Pros

  • Uploading multiple documents in batches.
  • Easy to copy paste fields for Signatures, names and dates.

Cons

  • NEEDS to have a template that allows auto-copy/pasting of fields across batches of documents, like in competitor platforms like SigningHub. Have spoken to support and did a video session requesting this feature.
  • Ability to archive, hide, and/or password protect documents.
  • Also NEEDS to be able to keep the original file name when signed, as using the auto-applied rename across documents causes serious confusion for us and end user.

Likelihood to Recommend

Good for batch signing in cases but not appropriate for batch scenarios where multiple documents need to be sent to the same person with the same fields (signature, name, date). Also NEEDS to be able to keep the original file name when signed, as using the auto-applied rename across documents causes serious confusion for us and the end user.

Alternatives

SigningHub
SigningHub allows template application of the same fields (e.g., signature, name, date) across all uploaded documents, saving significant amounts of time. It also keeps the original file name, which allows easy reconciling of documents after signing. This is crucial for us and others in our industry to be able to continue using Dropbox Sign.

DropBox is every byte as good as DocuSign for much lower cost.

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use the service several times a week. The DropBox Sign allows me to capture signatures on legally binding contracts in a simple-to-use format. Very cost-effective and reliable. I've used other systems for document signing, and this one is every byte as good and easy to use, but so much less per user and signature. Highly recommended.

Pros

  • E-signatures
  • Email followup.
  • Easy to use interface.
  • Simple drop and sign.
  • Step by step, easy to use.

Cons

  • Have not found any issues so far.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for signatures on documents. Easy to upload a pdf or word doc and drag and drop for initials, signatures, dates, etc.

Alternatives

DocuSign
Dropbox Sign is less expensive.

Perfect for closing the deal!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use this to get contracts signed by clients or new employees. I use it about 10 times a month, and it's very easy to use on a day-to-day basis. Clients also enjoy how easy it is, and then I am able to print the contracts after they are signed.

Pros

  • Uploads contracts.
  • User friendly.
  • Sends email reports.
  • Has a message to add.
  • Gets clients in quickly.

Cons

  • Being able to edit a contract after its uploaded.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think that it is best suited for any business that needs signatures. It's quick and easy, and no one has to even leave their home to do so.

Alternatives

Adobe Acrobat Sign
I find that this system is way easier to use.

Eco-friendly business without paper

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As we work with partners, employees and clients worldwide, we need to sign important documentation from both and more sides. Earlier we had to print papers, sign them, then scan and send them to the Second Side for signature. HelloSign made this kind of operation much quicker and easier. We sign documents, send signed files to contractors and such docs are judicially secured.

Pros

  • PDF files can be easily signed including auto date fill, names and initials
  • Multiple people can sign the document and everybody will get a notification when the file is signed
  • Quick loading of PDF files and pretty good design including high-quality of signature

Likelihood to Recommend

As mentioned above, I use HelloSign when I operate with International contractors, colleagues, employees, partners and clients. HelloSign is suitable everywhere so it is easy to use during work or education, marketing or inside social projects - everywhere you like. Most companies are fine with an electronic signature so I use this app for making such operations quick and easy.

User-Friendly and Quick. I really appreciated it during lockdown period when there was no time to meet people to sign manually

Rating: 7 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I started to use HelloSign last year during the lockdown period because there was no chance to move and meet people. I used HelloSign until we were able to come back office. Now we are signing documents manually again, but we are thinking of moving this process to the electronic way. We are evaluating this with our Legal department.

Pros

  • It helps with sending documents to people.
  • User-friendly platform.
  • Cost effective.

Cons

  • The mobile app looks not easy to use.
  • HelloSign should have integrations with external software/system.

Likelihood to Recommend

I suggest this software when you must sign a document electronically in an easy way. It helps you to reduce the amount of paper and sign documents. It was perfect during the lockdown period. I think it is a very good product for a private or medium/small company. But if you need integration with payment system processing, I am not sure it is the best.

Alternatives

Adobe Sign
I used HelloSign because I read good reviews. I had no time to look for other competitors during the lockdown period. Now, we are evaluating other e-signature systems and I will spend more time to compare them with HelloSign. I don't know if other solutions are as focused as HelloSign, user-friendly, and make signature documents as quickly.

Zero complaints about HelloSign!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use HelloSign to easily manage confidentiality agreements as we prepare to launch new products. It is used across the whole organization. It provided the solution to our challenges around sending and editing documents that need to be extremely easy to create and extremely easy to capture signatures, so that we can then continue getting advice on our developing product.

Pros

  • The interface is beautiful.
  • It is highly intuitive both for creating signature fields and for the recipient, who needs to sign the document.
  • It is significantly cheaper than competitors.

Cons

  • It could always be even cheaper!
  • That's really the only thing. I don't have any real complaints about the product. It is a laser focused solution and I think it would lose some of its appeal if it added on other features.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is a highly-focused solution. It is appropriate for capturing signatures on documents quickly. It does this extremely well, with a beautiful interface, at a lower price point than other competitors. Because it is so focused, this seems like an obvious question and I'm not sure how to answer it well.

Alternatives

DocuSign
DocuSign has an uglier, less intuitive interface, and is much more expensive.

Simple and Straightforward

Rating: 7 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use HelloSign to send out documents for signature to employees and external contacts, as well as use the Chrome extension to sign documents sent to us via email. It is currently being used by some of our management team but is not used by the entire company. We have an account that supports 10 licenses (7 or 8 of which we are currently using).

Pros

  • Create document templates for completion and signature.
  • Storage on HelloSign with the ability to download as needed.
  • Chrome extension that allows documents to be signed directly from emails.

Cons

  • More flexibility in the template creation platform.
  • Better functioning Chrome extension (it occasionally stops working).

Likelihood to Recommend

HelloSign is great on a small scale and works well for a handful of employees. I have never looked into higher-level subscriptions, but I'm not sure I would stick with HelloSign if I was going to spend more money. It works well for sending out documents we use regularly like our NDA template and new hire paperwork or for one-off documents.

Alternatives

DocuSign
We are a joint venture and one of our parent companies was already using HelloSign so it was an easy way to maintain compatibility. I have not formally evaluated DocuSign or other signature platforms yet, though it will become a need as our company continues to grow over the next 6 months.
