Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use several systems and try them out to see if they would work for our organization. For us, we loved being able to understand how an applicant interacts from using HirePro Video Interview. We noticed that we were able to screen our potential candidates before we every actually had a face to face interview. Great service that we recommend! We pair it with TestGorilla and love it!

Pros

  • Pre-screening of employees
  • Saves us employee time (from first interviews)
  • Eliminates people who would not work for our organization

Cons

  • The site can take a while to load (takes up tons of RAM)
  • Option for more intro videos of our specific organization before being asked questions (the why behind our org.)
  • I would like more question options for us to choose from that might be more applicable to our industry (non-profit)

Likelihood to Recommend

I really think the HirePro Video Interviews can be used for any industry (non-profit, for profit, governmental agencies, etc.). We have seen a ton of time saved as a result of this offering and it helps read a potential candidate before having to engage. We have cut an initial 20% of candidates as a result of this software! Worth it!!

Used for virtual admissions option but also reviewed for proctored examination options. With the global pandemic many things shifted to online and remote options. For admissions we review candidates and were looking for an option to recruit and evaluate candidates remotely. The application was also tested for proctored examination as the features are transferable.

HirePro Video Interview is well suited for basic first rounds of screening for high volume roles. We believe for higher level roles it is best to not rely as much on an AI powered algorithm given the specific and specialized nature. It has all the basics of having video and microphone. There seems to sometimes be more background noise picked up.

I actually use HirePro Video Interview to prepare people for interviews. I teach resume writing and interview skills and thought this might be a great platform to use for people to practice their interview skills since so many jobs have converted to conducting online interview skills instead of in-person now.

Pros

  • Evaluate candidates on their skills in an unbiased manner.
  • Candidates can record their answers so they can review them later.
  • More flexibility with scheduling interviews.

Cons

  • Assessing personality more accurately in candidates.
  • Some of the questions are too simple.
  • Time constraints sometimes.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's well suited for both one on one interviews as well as group interviews. Also, for people that need the added flexibility of being able to schedule an interview. It is less appropriate for people who may lack internet access or computer access and therefore, could be eliminated those types of applicants that may be extremely well suited for the job, but lack the resources to do an online interview.

We have used HirePro Video Interview to perform virtual interviews for highly technical positions. The product has been a useful and effective alternative to Zoom and other platforms. It has more functionality and is easy to implement. We have been very happy with it. We will likely continue to use it in the future.

Overall, HirePro Video Interview has been a useful software for us and I generally recommend it. I think it is most well suited for smaller meetings or interviews that are more intimate. For larger interviews and meetings, I do not think that HirePro Video Interview is as well suited or effective. In these scenarios, I would recommend using another product.

My company uses HirePro Video Interview to interview our candidates. It helps us save time in getting rid of unqualified candidates, without having to interview manually. The video feedback helps my company evaluate candidates anywhere and anytime. The biggest problem this software address is hiring in a timely matter. This also prevents us from double-booking interviews and staying on a more calendar-based schedule.

This software is the perfect interviewing tool when interviewing for our more "intense" positions at our company. It correctly scores many of our applicants and gives us a chance to interview a high quantity of applicants in a shorter amount of time. We are able to give quicker feedback to applicant because of this. A time when HirePro Video Interview was less effective was for our lower "intensity" jobs. We had a more challenging time understanding scoring for certain aspects of our questions, scenarios, etc.
