Easily Does Exactly What You Need as a Self-Employed Professional
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use Hurdlr to track self-employment income and expenses (with receipts). Not only does this help me keep track of top-line business details, but I am easily prepared to make tax payments, and can export reports within a few minutes or less (like profit and loss statements) that are frequently required throughout the year. I primarily use Hurdlr on my phone, but use it on desktop when I need to export reports.
Pros
- Quickly adding income
- Quickly adding expenses
- Helping me determine how much to pay for quarterly taxes
- Quick profit and loss statements
Cons
- The Tax tab loading properly and consistently - frequently doesn't pull up (on mobile) in my experience
- An integration with TurboTax would be awesome (to make it super easy to do taxes)
Return on Investment
- Eliminated the need to pay an accountant
- I was confidently able to do my own self-employment taxes (through TurboTax)
- I can keep everything up to date while spending less than one hour a month on it.
