Even though IBM Datacap has enriched mobility and allows users to capture data with tablets and Smartphones, it tends to be slow and makes the devices to hang, mainly when using smartphones with outdated versions.

Once highly customized, IBM Datacap can suit any business unit and scenario. To realize accurate knowledge and insight base on business documents, I would emphasize use of IBM Datacap since it has robust OCR tool that ease document capturing.
Traditional methods of capturing documents tend to be hectic to use when processing complex and unknown document formats from external sources like emails and scanners. IBM Datacap is being used across all company departments to capture documents from faxes and emails as digital files and process them to modern formats.

I would recommend IBM Datacap to all businesses and users that want to protect sensitive data from delivering to the wrong business users by redacting data based on the role of the requester.
We currently use Datacap to ingest standard formatted documents and free text documents, identify these and label them and extract relevant data. Development is limited to one team, but all incoming mail, email and snail is routed through it.
