From my little experience over this period, i will say it is well suited for server provisioning. The capability of creating templates ,which we have standardized in our environment, and reuse it any time there is a request is great. it saves configuration time. The only less appropriate scenario i can mention is the time i needed to restore a backup and realized the snapshot available did not have the most recent data but it least it had restored to a point.
