We use IBM Process Mining to make a diagnostic about the process and to identify diferents problems. The tool is very simple to apply, to up the data set and to make the BPMN diagram. We analyze a process about foreing trade and could identify lost time in the stage of transfer and rework in the stage to assign task. Starting from this, we worked in diferents solutions in the process to improve that.
Pros
simple
provides specific information
powerful
Cons

We believe that it is appropriate to use IBM process Mining when it comes to a process based on stages, where you want to evaluate the process end to end, and obtain average times, bottlenecks, rework, search for efficiency.
We believe that it is not appropriate to use IBM Process Mining when the data is not reliable.
In my experience, IBM Process Mining adds value to processes from the first click. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Dimensions of the process that would otherwise remain hidden can be analyzed. To give an example, thanks to IBM Process Mining, we improve international transfer processes. Our Foreign Trade Operations department receives requests to send money abroad and analyzes compliance with documentation requirements and reasonableness of operations. The regulatory pressure of the last 2 years created new manual tasks and controls and process changes that affected the operations production line. It ultimately impacted our level of service. With IBM Process Mining, we could immediately detect which tasks required priority improvements. We also understood the behavior of the demand and the impact it had on the team. By focusing on improvement opportunities, we were more efficient in implementing solutions. Finally, with IBM Process Mining we were able to measure how much the process improved after the implemented changes.
Pros
Summarize relevant information
Show workflow and bottlenecks
Get immediate results without creating source code
Cons
Some indicators require some explanation to be understood
It would help to have a relational data model to avoid enriching the input file outside the application
Likelihood to Recommend
IBM Process Mining is appropriate where there is information tracked in the systems in such a way that a relationship can be established between all the activities that a process goes through.
Also, when you can process the input file outside of the tool. It is normal that while analyzing the information, you want to delve into certain aspects: this requires enrichment of the analysis interface. It would not be appropriate where the process is based on the movement of documents or physical elements, which do not leave a record in an application. Nor where an analysis interface cannot be built with data that organizes all the operations of a process under the same identifier.
I like to use business system data to create and visualize a global process that includes all the process activities involved along different process paths. Therefore, our business can easily analyze the discovered process to gain actionable insights to improve business operations. The support team is very easy to use, reliable at all times, and supports at all times.
Pros
Useful Tool.
Internal and external procedures yielded positive results, and detecting failures at launch was a lifesaver.
Cons
There is no low functionality.
The method which is used is low-code.
The price is little High.
Likelihood to Recommend
The biggest recommendation is to take full advantage of all the functions of IBM Process Mining because it has mining process automation, which is very important for the good performance of your business operations, and you should also seek technical support because it is very good for your customers. Commitment and timely response.
