Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Ignio AIOps to automate services and reliability alerts. We have implemented self-healing with this automation. We have developed Ignio AIOps automation to be configurable allowing them to be reused across applications. This has allowed us to reduce costs and outages. The tool works well with other alerting applications and interfaces with Service Now. We have implemented the automation to work seamlessly with our support team by reassigning any tickets that the automation cannot resolve to them.

Pros

Health checks can be run at scheduled times (Every 8 hours for example).
Running on attributes to determine what actions to take.
Interfacing with other systems.

Cons

Add real time monitoring.
Create a functionality that would allow a simple file of attributes to be created and configure the system based on that file. Currently, minor additions need to be made in order for a new system/application to use the automation with its attributes.
A more condensed training for developers to just do minor automation, such as adding additional apps/systems to existing configurable automation.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's good for issue resolution, user access request automation, standard report generation, health checks, executing self-healing as configured in the attributes.

Currently not good at real-time monitoring to trigger an action. Health checks have to be on a scheduled basis.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Ignio AI OPS is used as an enterprise solution to manage automation and integration multiple back end processes and systems. To date we have automated over 40% of our catalogue and support tasks using Ignio AI OPS. My department is responsible to deliver IT Infrastructure support across the enterprise.

Pros

Future proofing technology.
Reduced turnaround time for requests.
Integration capabilities with our bot to manage end to end user engagement.

Cons

Reseller best to advise.
We are a consumer not an operator.

ignio AIOps is being used in our organization to streamline the IT Operations area. It is being used within the entire area to provide process improvements. This is allowing us to address any areas with high ticket volumes or long duration cycles. ignio is used for: event management, automations, self-healing, managing end-user devices, and health checks on servers.

Pros

Ignio is allowing us to centralize our Operations Team instead of having individuals users develop and maintain their own improvements.
The dashboard provides pertinent information on savings, ticket reductions, effectiveness, and alert coverage.

ignio is widely used in our organization. We are using this automated tool for the closure of incidents and requests hitting our support queues, and self-heal occurring incidents without any problems.

Pros

ignio handles 100+ use cases covering the entire organization including applications and infrastructure.
Centralize the dashboard to view and executed the health of systems in our environment.
It handles CA services desk Incidents and requests. Using automated tools with power shell scripts.
ignio event management helps the organization to manage the alerts well and make an informed decision.

Cons

Limitation of Lawson coverage.
Limitation of support for web logic and other middleware applications.

ignio takes care of end-to-end Incidents like finding the issue and raising the incident and resolving/self-healing the incident. ignio will provide a dashboard/report at the end for review. ingio also does end-to-end patching(Windows, Linux).

ignio AI-Ops is currently being used by the technology department. It has been very helpful in improving our ticket quality, removing noise tickets, and automating our batch management process.

Pros

Easy to use
Great support from ignio team.
Very powerful product that fits right in with our enterprise software.

Cons

Could use a few more parsers for different data feeds like CA7 data. But, I think they are working on this. It can handle most data.

This is a great product and, if used properly, it can automate many tasks in an IT Operations Department. It is easy to use, use-friendly, and nice to look at, which is very important if you are using the app all day.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ignio AIOps is being used by a department. We are automating resolution of infrastructure alerts. This is freeing up agents to work on more complex issues by not having to work on high-volume routine issues. Additionally we are able to offset our supplemental resource cost.

Pros

Handles server and database alerts well.
We have a large server footprint and this helps us keep up with the issues and noise that can generate and drive volume.

Cons

Ease of support is an opportunity, specifically when it comes to upgrades.
Configuring use cases in a more common language like Python would allow for quicker adoption by agents and quicker deployment.

Likelihood to Recommend

Suited for infrastructure support. We are still learning and waiting for the AI functionality to be realized so no judgement on AI yet.
