I think Intelex has wonderful tool for supplier quality management which enables organisation to audit and resolve the issue with supplier quality.

Also tool also give reporting facility which enhances the experience for us

We have a large vendor who provide supplies as per the requirement. In order to maintain the supplier quality it was a need to supplier quality management tool where organisation people can raise the issue related to any goods or the supplier which can logged in the tool in form of non conformity. Once non conformity is raised it needs to be resolved by supplier with corrective action. Management of such incidents happens for us in the Intelex tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Intelex is being used in partnership with a parent company for the tracking of quality, environmental, and safety data. This includes statistics and detailed reporting.

Pros

Easy-to-use interface
Support on multiple platforms
Very flexible customization

Cons

Implementation process is very difficult unless you are using the product out of the box
Licensing model is frustrating but they are willing to be flexible to make things work

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have a dedicated resource to manage and implement the system, top to bottom, Intelex is fantastic. It's a very large system and requires dedicated personal--it's not something you can spin up and just run. Our administrator spends most of their time assisting with pushing things through the workflow and logging tickets due to custom requirements.

We use Intelex for DWQMS document control, legal and other requirements, findings application, etc.

Pros

Document control.
Findings application.

Cons

Document control: When we search for a document, only the title of the lowest folder is visibly associated with the document. It doesn't help when you don't know the parent folders. It will be nice if the search function can be more user-friendly.

Likelihood to Recommend

Document review and approval processes are too complicated. It is like you went through a set of doors to complete the task, but back up through a different path, some times more steps.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Intelex Quality Management System is used by our US based employees at this time. We utilize the Document Control, Training Management, and Management of Change applications. The audit trails are very useful. However, the user interface has required some training and time for users to feel comfortable with the system.

Pros

The Document Control application has a lot of rigidity that is a benefit. The audit trails are easy to access. The approval flows are automated and the notifications allow for effective communication of what tasks have been assigned.
The My Tasks area is a fantastic tool that allows users to quickly see what they are required to do.
Intelex is a cloud-based system that allows work-wide access.
The document search ability is very helpful to our users. It is easy and quick to locate document.

Cons

When an employee is archived their information can no longer be pulled into a document via metatags. This is a flaw in the system and it would be valuable for this functionality to exist.
Better communication between Intelex and System Admins when upgrades are performed. They occasionally adversely affect the system and this lessens user confidence in the system.
Initial consultant was fantastic and response times were quick. The support ticket system is not as timely.

I would caution colleagues to make sure the system does what they need it to do and get it all in writing.
