We leverage IronSource on the demand side for both non-incent and incent traffic to acquire users for our app. It's another media partner that we like to leverage to supplement our buys on Google and Facebook. A good way to complement our other media partners and diversify our traffic as much as possible instead of relying on Google and FB
Pros
Dedicated account manager to keep things running smoothly and provide feedback weekly
Great reach of publishers
Large verity of ad formats
Cons
Not too many publishers for Brasil
Issues with delivering expected volume based on bid landscape suggested by the AM
Fraudulent traffic slips through their fraud prevention system

Although IS is mostly utilized for apps in the gaming vertical, and the bulk of their publishers are also in the gaming vertical, we have had some success using its DSP. As a non-gaming app, we occasionally struggle to find a reliable source of constant inventory and growth. However, with IS, we've found a few good pockets (publishers) that appear to back out extremely well for us.
We use IronSource on the Advertising side to promote apps on behalf of our clients. We use a lot IronSource to scale our client's mobile apps. It has a very easy of use platform so everyone in our organization can use it and manage it.
Pros
Scaling Apps
Good platform
Very good API
Cons
Very small inventory for iOS in Latin.
Sometimes does not deliver at the set targets.

Very good to scale Android apps in US or MX. I wouldn't use it for scaling iOS Apps in Latin America as they have a very small inventory. The platform is super easy to use and start launching ads. We use it as a complement to Appsflyer.
ironSource is a great tool that helps us expand our addressable supply for our programmatic campaigns. It is a great alternative to Google and more traditional channels that have banners and do not focus on CTV inventory. It is used mainly by our in-house marketing team and we use it as a complement to other DSPs to expand the reach on our campaigns.
Pros
Great reporting
Dedicated AM to help get the best use of the product
Exclusive deals with big publishers
Cons
Lots of fraud on the platform
Needs more data integrations
More A/B testing functionalities
Likelihood to Recommend
ironSource is a niche player on the DSP space, focused on specific verticals like gaming and on-demand categories. We use it for ride sharing campaigns as well as food delivery and some fintech clients that have special requirements and want to reach a younger audience. I would not recommend it if you want to run pure performance campaigns focused on getting clicks at a cheap price.
We are using ironSource as our DSP to access programmatic inventory, specifically video and high-impact formats. ironSource helps us deliver our marketing campaigns in an efficient way with very good results. It is used mainly by our marketing and ad operations departments within the company. They have a lot of CTV inventory and that is very helpful to reach young audiences that are otherwise very hard to get on other platforms.
Pros
Lots of video inventory
Premium supply on tier 1 countries
Very good support since its a managed platform
Cons
Not enough anti-fraud controls
Not enough inventory on small countries
CPMs are quite expensive
Likelihood to Recommend
ironSource is especially well suited for gaming campaigns, and hypercasual easy-to-use games are the scenario where their inventory performs best.
I would not recommend it for campaigns that are designed for e-commerce or retail, as that is not their strong suit. Also, since its a managed service, I would not recommend it for clients that have a programmatic in-house team.
