Within our organization, we use ISL Light for customer support. Through ISL, customers can contact us regarding various questions they have when using our project management system. Then, based on their question, we send them an answer, which can be supplemented with files, various screen captures, etc. We use ISL Light on a daily basis, as our customers also like to use it, as it is only a click away for them. If the questions are more extensive and require more attention for review, then we continue the communication via email. ISL is a great thing, because it also shows us the page our customer is on and guides us in advance to what the customer's question will be related to.

Preko ISL nas stranke lahko kontaktirajo glede različnih vprašanj, ki se jim porajajo pri uporabi našega sistema za projektno vodenje. Potem jim mi na podlagi njihovega vprašanja pošljemo odgovor, ki ga lahko dopolnimo z datotekami, različnimi zajemi zaslona ipd. ISL uporabljamo na dnevni bazi, saj se ga rade poslužujejo tudi naše stranke, saj je zanje le en klik stran. ISL Light is great because it is convenient and easy to use. It shows all the important information in one place - where the customer is located, contact information, we can upload images, various files. It is also great because we can see what the customer types before sending us a question - this way we can prepare for the question more easily and possibly see things in advance. For this reason, ISL would be recommended to everyone. It is also great because it alerts us to a new message from the customer and also to the fact that we still have to respond to them.

ISL je super, ker je priročen, uporaba je enostavna. Prikazuje vse pomembne informacije na enem mestu - torej kje se stranka nahaja, kontaktni podatki, lahko nalagamo slike, razne datoteke. Super je tudi, ker vidimo kaj stranka tipka, preden nam pošlje vprašanje - tako se lahko tudi lažje pripravimo na vprašanje in si morebiti že ogledamo stvari v naprej. Zaradi tega bi ISL priporočala vsakemu. Super je tudi, ker nas opozori na novo sporočilo stranke in tudi na to, da ji še moramo odgovoriti.

ISL worked and is really a what you see is what you get software. Rarely had any issues with ISL Light.

It does more and is graphically a very good software, you see every option and you rarely need to lookup anything for how to use ISL Light.

We use ISL Light as a fantastic support tool to offer our business network quickly reachable support when it is needed. The tool itself is very simple to use even for those who are let's say a bit challenged in this technologically advanced age. Looking forward to continue using the program in the future.

One scenario is when there is an employee who has any kind of difficulty with general computer usage or specific settings needing to be done but has a lacking knowledge to successfully complete the task by himself or herself. ISL Light with SSO

This tool allows us to take control of our users' workstations. The SSO functionality allows us to secure everything thanks to our Azure AD authentication system. I recommend this tool for taking control of remote workstations in a centralized and secure manner. I rate this tool 9/10. best regards

As part of my IT activity, I needed a tool that allows centralized and secure management of the control on my users' workstations. We have set up the SSO authentication system with our Microsoft Azure AD. This allows us to take control on a daily basis through the local network or the Internet on our workstations. We use ISL Light primarily to provide ad hoc remote support services where the end user downloads the client as required and allows us to connect to their machine. We also use it for monitoring and managing servers and PC's in an unattended state as it offers a quick and easy connection

Cons

  • It would be useful to have documentation showing what the user is likely to be seeing so that they can be guided through the client setup process with a bit more confidence.
  • Initial client setup on MacOS is difficult and this would also benefit from some instructions.

Likelihood to Recommend

ISL Light is well suited to provide unattended access to remote PC's and servers as the process for this is very streamlined. It's also very useful for providing unattended access to our own PC's via smartphone or tablets for when we're out of the office.

In a world full of Cybersecurity threats, every business should be wary of where their traffic is routing through, especially with free remote software alternatives. ISL Online addressed this issue for us with the on-premises solution, and only allowing the countries of interest access via our ISL Online Applicance. Remote Support is now a breeze for our technical staff, lower latencies make it truly responsive.

Likelihood to Recommend

You need to access that remote server without user or admin intervention? ISL Online AlwaysOn solves this issue. I love the recording feature too; it helps with knowledge sharing and auditing requirements. The on-premise hosted version is quick to update. Setting it up requires a bit of configuration, but once up and running it tends to remind you of a "set and forget" scenario.

server administration with AlwaysOn to have fast and secure access to our clients' servers. end-customer support, we connect to our clients' workstations on demand to provide support Additionally, to access our workstation if we're away from the office.

Compatible with Windows desktops without problems. For Mac, it is not very practical, due to MAC permissions. For Android and iOS devices, it is also very practical.

for what ISL Light is and intended for it is the best in its class in my opinion and I have tried anydesk, teamviewer, splashtop, zoho etc. The combination of all the features makes it the best along with probably the best customer support.
