Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have a small workshop collective at our university. We provide education on architecture to undergraduate students. We started looking for an application to use in our new online workshop and that's when we came across Klaxoon. We aim to provide communication and collaboration between our group online and to coordinate the tasks we will give to the students.

Likelihood to Recommend

It can be a good tool for workshops or interactive presentations. but the complex UI/UX design is a hindrance. It can easily alienate new users and make them look for other programs. It can also be a suitable application for company employees who work more regularly. I would rather have a special license for Education.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Facilitating remote meetings or trainings is a new skill made necessary by hybrid work (remote people and others on site).Klaxoon offers a palette of animation tools, as well as ready-to-use standards.Klaxoon does not require any training in the strict sense, it is a tool for everyone.

Pros

There are many templates available in the library: very useful for organizing a workshop that always requires a method to support collective intelligence.
Klaxoon is great for working collaboratively at the same time. It is really visual and not very difficult to use. It has different kinds of interesting features, but you have to know about them.
Blackboard principle, confidentiality of contributions

Cons

On the board, categories are limited to 20 options and colors for ideas are limited to 8.
There is no record of the actions that are performed.
It sounds easy, although you can get overwhelmed when you start using it. It takes a lot of practice to feel confident using it.

Likelihood to Recommend

Klaxoon is useful when you have to work on a project, for example, with people who work from home and others who work from the office (you can use Klaxoon with your laptop or your phone and everyone is in sync). Klaxoon is also a great way to keep meetings fun and interesting, everyone participates.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Klaxoon for Scrum meetings in order to better use our time in meetings. The idea is to be able to use a tool where we can all include our thoughts in real-time and debate about each subject. The idea of leaving a trace of our thoughts is one of the most important things about this tool.

Klaxoon is super well suited for teams that work on an agile development basis. You can achieve a great level of commitment using Klaxoon and people really love using these types of tools to mind map their thoughts and try to look for solutions as a team. You can then show the results to other people and everything is well designed and super friendly to use.

We’re a large organization working together across many countries and locations. With the recent covid 19 curfew in many countries, we were unable to meet physically at our company locations and this really speeded up the need to find a solution to keep teamwork possible. Today we are still using and have the need for this type of solution to keep growing and help each other across countries and locations.

Pros

Simple and intuitive boards.
User-friendly “templates” that make it easy for most users to get started using it as a teamwork space.
Like most other companies we rely on Microsoft and Microsoft teams. This software solution integrates with teams, which I really like.

Cons

From a user perspective I would say klaxoon offers all the good stuff. A few functions could be more developed like survey.
I personally had troubled organizing some of the boards to have the data from them exported in a nice way.
Hard to find more negative sides, but more templates for more use cases would always be nice :-)

Likelihood to Recommend

It is really well suited for large organizations or at least organizations where you need to cooperate across physical locations. You get all and more of the normal features of a physical meeting with a whiteboard. Klaxoon just makes it easier for all to take their part, save stuff and work together without having to travel.

We are using Klaxoon to run collaborative meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams as well as our customers in a virtual setup. This was extremely useful during COVID, especially with everyone working remotely from home. How Klaxoon makes it different is through their visual project boards that support multiple use cases, easy to use templates, and highly collaborative project boards

Klaxoon is extremely useful for running brainstorming sessions, problem-solving workshops, and consultative sessions with customers. Its visual project board with a collaborative environment, design intuitive user interface, and templates library makes it easy to discuss, portray your conversation visually, collaborate and get feedback. As the output is usable and scalable, there is no extent to which this may ever become redundant. Anyone can start using it easily and scale and add people and notes to the nth extent.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Klaxoon on a regular basis to help facilitate many aspects of our business. Their excellent templates cover sales, HR, IT, and a variety of business and experiential workshops and are hugely valuable and useful to make it look very simple on-screen. All of the systems are user-friendly and are there to ease the process from end to end for many businesses. Their collaboration templates are brilliant and some of the visualization tools and systems are hugely beneficial to my business.

The best scenario and the most used for my business would be when full collaboration is required across multiple teams in a workshop environment. The templates that Klaxoon has really make it a simple process from start to finish. without these templates, it would be harder to keep a workshop on track, and the clean lines and colorful boards within the systems make it an enjoyable experience all around.

In our organization, Klaxoon is used by our project management committee for brainstorming, survey, and team meeting. It has come in handy, especially while working remotely. Klaxoon has made morning meetings productive. It has also improved team communication by using its memo feature where we can pass on the memos to the concerned person. This has saved us a lot of time and made our work efficient.

Klaxoon is definitely should be your first choice if you are working remotely with your team. It has various tools that allow you to have an interactive meeting with your subordinate. My best pick is its feedback at the end of the meeting. This allows you to reflect on the meeting that you just had and gives you ideas to improve in upcoming days. I don't think there are such scenarios where it's less appropriate to use Klaxoon. For whatever times I've used Klaxoon it was totally worth it.

Many problems, like product failure to address, customer needs/pain to identify by segment, and lack of alignment on prioritization/direction to take. the main benefits are to optimize participants' contribution, share and align perspectives, and visualize actions. Klaxoon helps mobilize the collective intelligence to assess a situation, deal with a problem, improve a process, reach an agreement and define an action plan. I used it internally and with customers, for small and large groups, face-to-face or remote, leveraging templates or developing my own.

The flexibility of Klaxoon is really impressive when you get into the notion of a meeting that allows having packaged experience. We have a lot of people using Klaxoon and the networks and the possibility to share templates across an entire organization is also a big plus from Klaxoon.

Cons

Just maybe some fine-tuning here and there about some choice in terms of UI and maybe trim down a bit some graphically appealing things which are sometimes taking over the effectiveness
The solution is really rich and maybe including more tutorials would be great to reduce the learning curve when using more advanced capabilities.
I wish the session functionality would give me more freedom to switch between different activities and reactivate some e.g. a survey. It's easier to make a mistake with sessions to close activities by accident.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Overall, Klaxoon is an easy and useful tool to set up for remote meetings apart from being intuitive for the participants. I used this in the past, more specifically when I was finishing my bachelor's studies and as a pilot software in my former company. The meetings and the brainstorming tools for small meetings with a handful of participants and for larger sessions with up to 50 participants. The ideas are easy to understand and it fosters discussion among all participants. I think something Klaxoon does well is to have all of the content accessible after meetings, making the creation of summaries and generation of outputs for the session attendees.

During the COVID-19 breakout, there arose a need for team collaboration and the facilitation of real-time work on remote scenarios to be analyzed. In those terms, we have been introduced to a new tool Klaxoon, which is a simple, all-in-one, accessible tool that enables visual collaboration for simple and inclusive teamwork with maximum participation.

Pros

Boards with ideas and vectorial arrows are the best way to structure ideas during brainstorming
Sessions are very useful at keeping participants involved during training via surveys and questionnaires
Numerous templates available for the facilitation of remote working scenarios

Cons

Absence of Categorization of list of boards which can be very handy and helpful
More freedom to switch between different activities and reactivate some (you can accidentally close the session)
Some UI-UX problems - for instance, it is not easy to create a post-it note exactly at the pointed location

Easy for end-users to experience the workflow and processes (i.e. low entry barrier) and handle the tool. Easy for facilitators to create a digital board and to animate and create a good remote real-time or asynchronous experience. Moreover, it allows building Customer Journey Maps (CJM) for my end-users with very low time invested and a high level of reusability.
