Metadact is metadata technology, built to couple security with a simple design. Server-based Metadact provides security by enforcing data loss prevention, simplifying attachment management, and keeping people covered no matter the device they’re using.
Metadact helps protect users from data-leak risks by cleaning metadata from MS Office, PDF, image, and ZIP files. To mitigate exposure and avoid risks, it is important to be able to remove metadata from documents before sending them outside of the organization or posting them to an extranet or portal.
