Localized fits perfectly for clients who would love to have their website localized. It offers great plugins and integrations with popular content management systems and serves as a translation management system for your website. Setup is rather easy, however, more complex setups would require a more technical approach which is not always possible.
Localize has transformed my website!! My company is based in Finland but as an English speaker I designed my Shopify website in my mother tongue. I tried many “translators” but with Finnish being classed as the second hardest language after Chinese, most did not cut it. Most just used robot translations and as most of you probably know they are never good. With Localize we were able to amend the automatic translations suggested by Localize.
Pros
Offers real-time translations and is constantly working in the background to detect additions and amendments to text.
Cons
We used the automated translator service because we are a start-up and price was everything. This posed a small problem because we were translating from English to Finnish. This is not such a common global language so automated translations tend to be quite bad but this was easily fixed due to the fact that Localize allows us to easily amend their suggested translations.

I would definitely recommend this app to all who are seeking an easy to use, fast, reliable and flexible translator. There is also the bonus that it is great value for money with its tier system.
I’m using Localize with my website. I’m using a platform that doesn’t allow me to have a multilingual structure, so the Localize plugin comes in handy here. The interface is slick, the script is easy to implement (just copy and paste) and it’s easy to translate the website with their interface. If you’re too lazy to translate yourself, they can manage your outsourcing.
Pros
Easy
Fast
Cons
Expensive

It is well suited for quick localization of your website.
We decided to use Localize in order to translate our website and move to internationalization. We really like it. It is useful, easy to use and full of great features. You can opt for automatic or manual translations and you can also decide to order online translations provided by professionals. The process is very simple, you can browse the website connected to Localize and phrases automatically appear in the pending section. You can also use the new editor tool that shows phrases in context. We really recommend Localize.js!
Localize is used by ADO STUDIO as the main multi-language system for our website creations. We mainly use the WordPress plugin for integration and we add the translations provided by our clients directly via the admin panel.
Pros
Super easy integration - it takes one minute to add and configure the Localize WordPress plugin.
Convenient Admin - it is straight forward to add a project, get the API key and start adding translations.
Front End display - the switch between language is intuitive and efficient. It loads all languages super fast.
Cons
More options for language switch - header, footer, flags, ...

Recommended for responsive designs, and mobile website - do you need to go mobile? You don't need to reload a page to change language - do you have speed constraints? The back end part is very easy to use and collaborate on translations - are you working with translators?
We've been using Localize for a few months now and it has been a superb experience. From implementation to maintenance, the product works smoothly and allows our company to have presence in several countries without the burden of the administration several versions.
We totally recommend it for SaaS businesses that aim to have a localized version of their product at a more than reasonable price and great user experience.
Great value. A total bargain.
Pros
Ease of use
Affordable
User Experience is improved
Technically works smoothly
Cons
It would be great if they could also support the localization of transactional emails.
We have an integrated eComm platform that didn't have multilingual support. Cost to implement and timeline to implement were factors. (Like normal, it had to be done now and cost next to nothing). We looked at various options but nothing was going to solve the problem without a massive investment until we found Localize.
Pros
Easy to install.
Very user friendly interface that allows our in house translator to make updates quickly without much fuss.
Cons
Doesn't support image translations however you can work around this issue and I doubt anyone will be able to support this in the near future.
Likelihood to Recommend
If your platform supports multiple languages you are probably best to use that first rather than implementing an external solution.
