We use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite at work as a visual collaboration tool, both remotely and in the office in-person. We mainly it as a companion piece to Microsoft Visio to create more complete requirements gathering exercises, and also for Agile ceremonies such as retrospectives and sprint planning sessions. It's particularly great for enabling our teams to work together to understand complex problems remotely on a shared board.
Pros
Remote collaboration
Great templates
Awesome account management team
Cons
Migration from Miro could be a bit easier
Additional fun templates (Miro had some great retrospectives)
More facilitation training for users (Miro also provided more of these) using templated boards

Very well suited to any type of Business Analysis work. Also great for project planning and portfolio reporting. Visualising problems and creating process flows also very good.
The BA team still prefer to use Visio for more detailed process mapping, so this could perhaps be improved.
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite platform is being used within the context of my organization, to streamline processes across departments, and improve the communication and execution of these processes, thereby making my entire organization a lot more productive. As at this moment, Lucidchart is the most used tool, within my organization, from the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite of tools. Lucidchart is very important within my organization for optimizing processes, documenting regulatory/compliance protocols , designing customer journey from customer to repeat customer and so on .
Pros
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes use of a drag and drop flowcharting approach. Personally, this has made the process of creating process maps a lot easier, faster and effective.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes collaboration when process mapping, a lot effective. As a result of functionalities, such as the ability to create and edit process diagrams at the same time with other users, add comments to diagrams and even use "mentions' to assign teammates to specific diagramming tasks.
Ease of use and integrations with important productivity tools like Slack and Onedrive. Integrations such as the one with Onedrive helps to centralize the diagrams created on Lucidchart , making them easily available offline.
Cons
In my experience, navigation tends to be laggy when accessing or working on very large diagramming documents. While this happens generally with web browser based tools, this is a real problem for me as a Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite user.
In my experience, the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite platform is limited and weak when accessed offline.
Likelihood to Recommend
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is well suited for product teams looking to create visual process maps, highlighting in detail how created products and services will be utilized by users. ( Customer journey mapping ).
Within HR teams, the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite platform ( particularly Lucidchart ) is used as an important tool for employee onboarding and training.

We use Lucid to help visualize complex process flows and the interactions between the various components. It provides the visual context for discussions as we design, improve, or maintain our multiple methods, both internally and within our product offerings. This context is invaluable during these discussions, helping everyone understand and stay on the same page as we work.
Pros
Flow charts.
Enterprise architecture designs and overviews.
Organization charts.
Cons
Connector formatting can be cumbersome.
Layering of various objects can be challenging with a lot of objects in play.
Likelihood to Recommend
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is very well-suited for creating visualizations of complex process flows and the interactions between various components, which is invaluable during team discussions to help everyone understand the process and stay on the same page as we work. It is not as well suited when a lot of words or descriptions are needed to convey an understanding of the process; short, defined steps work best.

It's a great tool for creating flowcharts. We've mainly used it to describe processes, be it design, project management, QAQC, etc. It's optimal for scenarios where you want to collaborate with others in real-time. There are other tools which satisfy flow charting, but of the ones I've used, they're more 'create it and share it' rather than everyone can collaborate seamlessly.
Pros
Flow Charts
Process Diagrams
Graph Network Diagrams
Cons
Being able to easily export to use in other applications (though maybe the functionality exists, haven't checked in a while)
Likelihood to Recommend
Anything where you want to create flow chart/process diagrams and collaboration. If you don't need 'real-time' collaboration, there are other tools; though few seem to match the UI quality.
I have explored a ton of visual tools over the years and Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has consistently been a 'Go To' platform. The platform provides rich, useful and engaging visualization assets that make it easy for me to find just the right look, feel and functionality to create the experience that I know will best help me tell the story and communicate clearly what I am looking to simply, effectively grab the attention of my audience. Whether an internal meeting with an audience of just a handful of people or in large conference settings where I present big, bold ideas with clarity. With everything we have to do these days, having a reliable platform makes my day much easier.
Pros
Keeps my team and I on the same page.
Helps to visualize complex ideas in a simple way.
Can be used from the kick-off of a project through to the hand-off of project assets to production.
The introduction of AI is helping to speed up and refine work processes and automation.
Works as a home for ideas and a true north location for concepts.
Cons
Ease of onboarding some of our new users to get them up to speed on the platform so they are more fluent in using and sharing their work.
Could use more offline optional functionality for times when that may be required.
We can connect our Asana or Jira project, Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite’s built-in project tracking isn’t as robust as I have seen in other platforms.
Not that this happens often, but when it does using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite tools on a phone or small tablet isn’t ideal. The interface is cramped, and many features are hard to access or don’t translate well to touch.
The introduction of AI for assisting in idea generation is a nice new addition - it still needs to evolve to be advanced to be as useful and reliable as I would like to be able to rely on.

The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite works well for getting our remote and hybrid team members to work together - in real time - and collaborate of projects in a seamless manner. The suite helps us to individually and collectively map out complex concepts and campaign ideas that need to be understood more immediately in order for us to get buy-in early. Where the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite isn't as strong is in the depth and breadth of project integrations and project management. We have also had a few instances where the offline functionality wasn't capable of helping us at off-site presentations where we had issues with the local wi-fi caused us to scramble a little to get the full suite working. We would also like to see Lucid step up on the comparative design outputs that we have found in other platforms like XD or Figma.
We use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to diagram, whiteboard, and visualize the strategy and different elements of plans that were putting into place. Specifically, my team, we have used it to thought map and create a clearer picture of what we need to accomplish, tasks, and just a very nice digital whiteboard that’s on the go and allows us to collaborate anywhere. I also use my own whiteboards to track tasks, map my responsibilities, and create a transparent representation of my work
Pros
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite’s software are quite intuitive and visually appealing.
The function of Lucidspark boards are so simple and easy to manipulate. Very functional.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite’s navigation menu is very intuitive as well.
Cons
The sign in page could use some help. When I first signed up, it was really difficult to login, unless I was logged into the perfect Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite software. It doesn’t seem to have a route to get people to the right place if you’re in the wrong place.
It’s nearly impossible to move content off of the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite if you’re looking to get your content into a different platform.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite requires frequent updates and refreshes of the pages (at least daily).
Likelihood to Recommend
I personally think that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the best visual collaboration software out there. I’ve used Canva, Apple Freeform, and Microsoft whiteboarding software, and none of them really measure up. If you want simple, easy, collaborative, and intuitive, then Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the best solution. At the same time, if you’re tight on budget, it’s probably not going to be a solution you can afford.
I use this tool for more complex flow diagrams, swim-lane diagrams, gantt charts, Venn diagrams, and project timelines. It's a great way to get ideas down on a page quickly and then organise those ideas in to proper documentation demonstrating what was discussed. I often embed these diagrams in our central documentation pages in Confluence which is great for ensuring everything is accessible in one place and they don't have to click through to links to find what they are looking for.
Pros
Flowcharts
Alignment
Flow diagrams
Diagrams
AWS network architecture
Cons
Live collaboration
Likelihood to Recommend
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is great for documenting technical products and scenarios (ie architecture, data flows).Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is also great for getting ideas out of my head and on to a page for further transformation and development. It is also very easy to invite team members in to collaborate on projects.

I bought an individual license to try it out for workflow diagrams (like one creates with Microsoft Visio). I had problems getting a Microsoft Visio license with my current customer, so decided to give a new product a try.
Pros
The arrows on workflow diagrams are easy to align
I like that you can export as a PNG to insert into Word documents
It's intuitive & easy to use
Cons
I haven't noticed anything yet.
Likelihood to Recommend
I have only used it for workflow diagrams so far (explaining user workflows in software systems), and it works well for that.

I am using Lucidchart to develop and design process flows for different elements of the sales process and functions. I've used it to conceptually diagram everything from internal software usage flows to communication flows to business processes. For those who tend to be more visual, this is a great way to communicate complex information in a simple way. I would recommend this type of visualization for any presentation that seeks to break down complex concepts or even simple ones.
Pros
Linkedin navigator flow
Discovery flow diagram
ABM process maps
Sales outreach cadence maps
Cons
Video tutorial of a build would be useful
Likelihood to Recommend
In any scenario where you are navigating complex or simple concepts and you want to stay away from a heavy text format, this is an ideal tool. You can use it quite effectively in taking concepts and processes and using the flow to point a way to execution.
We've used the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to organize our thoughts and work together in figuring out process flows. We recently converted our whole Product Development process and started off white boarding all of the task in the development Cycle. From there, we put everything in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite and started "connecting the dots". Having everything laid out in Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was crucial for understanding the process and translating everything into our Wrike Gantt Chart.
Pros
For anyone who learns visually, this program does a good job of providing various tools to create practically anything you want to design.
Being able to use it while others are in there and see each others changes is very useful. It's also beneficial to feel like you're working as a team even when working remote.
Overall, I find the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite very user friendly. I didn't really need any training on it as it's easy to figure out the majority of it's tools.
Cons
This is a difficult question, I was going to say that it could have a communication/chat features but I just logged on and saw that it already has this.
Likelihood to Recommend
1. We used Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to transfer all of our thoughts into process flow when completely changing up our development process. 2. I used Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite recently to build a timeline that was going to be used in a presentation for c-suite. 3. I look forward to discovering how else I can incorporate Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite into my job.
